I don't think anyone I know cares beyond momentary curiosity. The person I can think of doesn't game at all in any aspect. The person who introduced me to touhou isn't aware the game has been translated or anything beyond the game(s) being notoriously difficult to newcomers. He doesn't play it much but he is a legit (PC/console/arcade/anything) gamer.

The pictures are really well done. Its a shame theres a page seam in the middle of the bigger ones. Kudos to paying attention to Remi's and Ran's shoes. The yukari one is very nice.

You and the first claimer would have to go over that if end up wanting to take her (do note, however, that you pointing the name thing out in this thread could allow them to edit their claim making you lose the chance of you pseudo NTRing her).

You'd also have to divorce a claim and wait a few days before you could use that slot for her.

As Jacky said, you can try to contest it, but if they have a logical reason for them to not use one name over the other, their claim may still be considered valid. It's somewhat situational to the original work the character is from, but you can always try. Just make a claim and the original claimer can contest it how they see fit.

It's up to art as to whether or not the reasons presented are grounds to invalidate a claim or not.
