SC seems to tell the truth ... through the same lens that the mass media does. In other words, filter out the bias and exaggerations, and you have the truth. Usually.
On topic, I wouldn't expect this to become much of a trend. Now that it's started, you can expect some others to follow, but once people realize that popular properties benefit the most from going into hentai-mode, it will fade away.

Also, when I read reviews, I look at more than one on the same subject, and see which ones they label as Pros and Cons. If several reviews agree on some Cons, then it's probably a legitimate concern. Then I just weigh those cons against my own tastes to reach a decision.

Babel Sword has been updated for wide screen and higher resolution. Needs latest Mugen. (It's like Wartech and Suguri.)
Senko no Ronde DUO has been released on the 360 (Japan only).
Virtual-On Force (like Marz, except actually good) has been announced for a release on the 360 (might be Japan only).

Wouldn't that just be "End of Evangelion"? Death/Rebirth is just a recap clip show (with a part of Air in it).
