AAHAHAHAHA!
This last ranked game, priceless.
So I'm playing Nasus top against Renekton.
And my bot is Caitlyn/Soraka versus Tristana/Leona.
I'm handling myself alright against Renekton, even with his frequent Volibear ganks. Which is stupid, Renekton already had me at my turret for the early part.
And my bot, is losing hard below. The Tristana ended up with 19 kills in the end.
So I'm like, we're screwed.
But I managed to pull a few teleport ganks in, got my elise mid fed. Helped bot get the first tower so they had more breathing room. Got my own ground against Renekton top.
But so far, our teams are about even, but their ADC is more fed. So it's likely going to turn out bad.
So we go into Team Fights.
And almost every single team fights, their team focused me on Nasus.
Renekton, who can easily slip by and get to our squishies, specifically focuses me.
Voli, who has rolling thunder, focuses me.
Tristana, their fed ADC, is focusing me.
Even their mid Kat is focusing me.
And while they are taking me down, it's relatively slow. My ULT is ticking away at their health since they need to be in range of my ult.
And the rest of my team is just tearing them down on top of it.
The last team fight happened on their turret. I quickly finish it off and ult. And literally they threw everything they had at me. But I had Spirit Visage, I had Bulwark, I had my Iceborn Gauntlet. I had Soraka healing me.
They managed to get me down, but no one else. My team aces them and pushes through an Inhib turret, an Inhibitor, the two nexus turrets, and the nexus in one fell swoop.
Meanwhile, Leona was screaming about them focusing Nasus.
So because they focused the tankiest person on our team, they lost even though they were up 37-25.

You don't HAVE to be high level to be skilled.
People whine about this counter for this champ and blah blah blah.
When in reality, you should always play a champion you feel most comfortable with.
Should you take into account what counters who? Sure you can, just don't be like "OMG! SINGED COUNTERS JAX! I NEED TO PLAY HIM CAUSE THEY WENT JAX!"
It should be more "Well I'm comfortable playing Garen. And he's pretty effective against Jax."
Or you might want to think more about what the team has.
"Well my jungler and support are both pretty squishy. So maybe I should go with a tanky top/mid so we don't get steamrolled."
Or maybe you need a good initiator. A good initiator can make a game as well as not having one can break you hard.
It's why Amumu and Malphite are banned so frequently. Especially at lower elos. Because their initiate is so freaken high and they can zone team fight so well without taking much risk because of their tankiness.
It's also why I won't be surprised to see Zac banned more once he becomes more common. He can just steamroll a game.
But if you suck at playing a champion it won't benefit your team to play him. And that's what a lot of people misunderstand. If you can't play or you feel a lot more comfortable playing a different champion then you should play the more comfortable champion. Just try to work one you feel comfortable with into a role you need. Like a tank, initiator, bruiser, etc.

Omg Tsamari, reading that last post of your was hard. You need to learn some punctuation and formatting.

Counters are for people who don't have skill.
True counters don't really exist too much anymore. That doesn't mean one champion can be hard to play against as another champion, soft counters still exist. But it's hard to find a champion that can just steamroll another unless the other person just has no skill.
Anyways, for the person who wants to try support. Here's a nice helpful video on being a good support.

Shifting more damage to her proc rather than the initial hit won't change anything at all? It's not like she has a strong harassing game, I have never laned against Akali and thought to myself "Damn that Q harass pre-6 is giving me hell", lol.The Lux MS change is interesting and I can definitely see what they're getting at, but I can't imagine myself dying in a sense that would've let me live before the change.
I dunno, there were plenty times as Jax that I was JUST outside of range of Lux before she got the CD on her stun back.
So it definitely saved several Luxes that way. I won't say it's a biiig deal, but I think it made a little bit of difference. Which you won't notice some of them until you're in the thick of things and you're like. "Damn, I keep getting caught now."
Akali was always weak pre-6. All you had to do to keep her down pre-6 was buy a pink ward. I don't know how many Akali's I've kept down top lane from that simple thing.
The only time they ever got above me pre-6 was with a successful jungler gank. Which rarely happens now.
I'm not entirely liking the Kayle nerfs of her cast range. Mostly because I'll have to relearn where they are more than anything. She's the main person I support with if I have to go that role.

Yep, I'm going to let Nasus carry me out of this League hell.

After playing Nasus a few times I can see why people like him.
I roflstomped a Kayle up top with him. And by the end of the game I was zoning out three people of their team with ease and laughing at their damage.

I only know how to play adc somewhat properly (I fav the ranged chars) I have no experience in any other role in normal matches
I'm thinking of learning support next. Any general pointers?
(jungle, I think I would have to read a guide on order of monsters + counter jungling and such, i'll save that for later)
Support depends on what champion you're playing and how your ADC plays.
But mostly it's about zoning and keeping your ADC alive while helping to secure kills.

Ugh, a 53 minute rank game that was needlessly made difficult to win.

UghWhat's a good support champ? I'm willing to dish out 6.3k for a champ just because every game no one wants to freaking support. I can only play soraka and janna as support right now.
Thresh, Lulu, and Sona are probably the top supports.

Bleach does suck dick.
Hence why the pilot would have been more interesting.

He's going to do her dragon style, but his dragon penis is too big and kills her from it.

I'm going to write a book about Dragons who disguise themselves as people and go to high school.
And if they come in contact with fire, that part of them reverts back to being a dragon without them being able to control it.
And like, there will be an evil organization that kills any human that is exposed to this.
And the main character will be a ditzy girl, I mean super ditzy and clumsy. And she falls in love with this aloof angsty guy who is really a dragon.
And then he has to expose himself just to save her this one time since she's so clumsy.
Did I forget to mention there's a secondary tribe that helps protect the dragon's secrets. But they aren't dragons. Noooo siree.
They're werebisons.
Gonna make myself a mint.

From what I hear, Nashor's Tooth actually works very well on Diana.
But that's only what I've heard.

I don't know if a lot of you guys keep up with the pro's but i'm so sad over Chaox being Kick off TSM D: i really hope a really good Team will pick him up and i wish WildTurtle good Luck as the new AD Carry for TSM and Chaox will be miss :(Why no Chaox? D:
He was having trouble throughout their recent games and he apparently wasn't taking practice seriously and such and was constantly not participating.
