Twice this week I've welled up to something I've watched.
The ending to Fast and Furious 7
And just now to Stan dying on Eastenders.
Eastenders simply reminded me of the pain of loss and reminded me of my grandad. I adored him but when he died I felt no emotions whatsoever. Didn't/couldn't cry or grieve. But deep down I was devestated to the extent that I refused to go to his funeral. Guess it's about time I made up for lost time and cried it out. Still regret not going.

Did an 8 hour shift. Extra money is always welcome. Considering that it's a Saturday it was surprisingly not as busy as usual.
Time felt like it went pretty quickly and with a lack of things to do (since nothing to put out) it was a fairly relaxed day, most of which was spent chatting away with my coworkers. As a bonus, because I didn't move around so much I didn't wear myself out.
Heels of my feet still hurt though.

Not really an "invention" per sé, but any new "miracle diet" that claims to shed the pounds from eating a foodstuff or restricting yourself to a single foodstuff. And people are stupid enough to fall for it in this day and age.
