Ok - now we're getting somewhere. Yes 2 Negima series exist. One, the older and more down to earth Mahou Sensei Negima and the younger, wacky Negima !? done by Shaft.

But since you mentioned the romantic comedy genre (and Love Hina) let's work on that. (check out this master list BTW : https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=8164)

- Rental Magica - magic, comedy and innocent generic romantic interests for a main protagonist similar to Negi in some ways
- Shuffle - basically for the same reasons as Rental Magica but has more romance and less magic/action
- Rosario Vampire - worse than the above-mentioned IMO but fairly popular these days. A clumsy protagonist + a unique and kinda magical harem

None of those is really new but all are noteworthy with Shuffle being (IMO) the best. You can also check anidb.net or myanimelist.net for further descriptions and user recommendations.
