Will you fill the Onaholes with pine needles to make them more Christmasy?

A minor bump as my Range Murata fix (a good chunk of the reason I subbed) has been lacking. Hope you get around to his one-offs soon! <3

I'll probably get around to making a custom rank tomorrow

You release books in piece-meal and can have them continuous - what exactly is different here? Other than maybe books would be sequential and the comics would possibly be in random order and skipping the "extra" content. Depending how the images are called in the reader, you might just be able to upload the book as a separate thing entirely and just have it pull the images individually if you can't have it pull self-contained chapters. Though not knowing how things are coded, I can only make random guesses. As long as we end up with full magazines where we can see all of the wonderful art, I'm happy! :D

Was hoping he did some comics as he did in his Robot compilations, but still would love to see his classic single shots. I cannot express to you how big of a fan of his I am, and my desire for you to not skip the "extras".

In fact, I still would like to see these magazines be uploaded as a full continuous format so we could read cover to cover.

Is Range Murata just a name drop on Comic Kairakuten since he sometimes does covers? I've been checking constantly for one of his works to pop up, and nothing so far. *pouty face*

Really good idea, I had neglected to put together a page exclusively showing chapters only available to subscribers. I just coded this, take a look: https://www.fakku.net/chapters. This will constantly update as new chapters are added to the website, when the service goes public later today it should have 20-30 new chapters added.

Thanks Jacob! Like how it includes the chapters from the bonus weeks! So is there a chance that we will see it grouped by magazine and in a continuous read like books?

And as noted by 623, there are no paths built to this section yet, though I'm sure you know that. :p

Your subscription will grant you access to our entire back catalog, that means every magazine we published in the past you'll be able to read with your subscription.

I have mixed feelings about that. Does that mean if your subscription ends you lose access to the magazines? I know it makes it more like a porn site subscription where constantly building content makes a subscription more and more tempting, but it also means there is no difference between someone that has paid every month for a year and a new subscriber. Plus I prefer my funds to go towards owning content rather than renting - having the ability to download the magazines and/or access them even if I had to end my subscription has value to me.

OMGWTFBBQ - Range Murata!? I've always been a huge fan of his - I've collected all of his art books (one signed!), but I've never been able to get a hold of his hentai work (if he has any). I've been crossing my finger that he has some, but the most Google gives is the occassional topless Futuregraph, and I hate censorship, so I never invested in any of the Wani magazines. I can't wait for these!

If you decide to print any of these magazines, PLEASE PLEASE print October's issue of Comic Kairakuten! That cover image alone would make it a buy for me. <3

It's been mentioned a few times in this thread, but I consider it important: a Magazine or Gold section (both in your Account and along the top). Having the content provided by gold in an easily accessed and direct format helps people see the value of what they're getting with their subscription... also the general public seeing little thumbnails like the Book section has might drum up some new subscribers over threads buried in the forums.

Another question/suggestion: Will the magazines be purchasable in digital format for those that have missed previous months or can't support a subscription?

I'm down. Have a PC, tablet, phone, and eBook reader (if you ever decide to formally support azw/epub formats) to help test with if needed.

I made a massive post going into detail on thoughts of various merch ideas, but it got way out of hand. Made the TL;DR version:

** What I want **
- Bookmarks: This is a MUST. Too perfect for your books and too easy not to do. While it would be a nice "thank you" item for book purchases considering they can be cheaply made, I'd be more than willing to pay for a cute set of Fakku bookmarks or especially ones with full on art from some of the wonderful Fakku book hentai artists.
- Art Books: PLEASE. I see this as vastly superior to posters - you can hold beautiful art in your hands to peruse or leave on a coffee table, but can be tucked away if you have visitors that would not appreciate such art. If you can get a collection going and put it in a nice large high quality format, I'd get the book in a second.

** What I don't think will work or wouldn't buy **
- Shirts/Hoodies/clothing in general: Too public for me, though if your current products are selling well, why not expand.
- Posters/Wall Scrolls: Too prominent for my home, though I'm sure there are plenty that like them.
- Figures: While I do love figures, their production cost is simply too high. Bringing some in from Japan might work, but there are already a dozen sites that do that... can you do that and be competitive?
- Dakimakura: While I have a few anime throw pillows, and would consider some new ones (be they naughty or just cute), this comes back to production. It's not as easy and cheap to get a Dakimakura printed as they don't have the volume and billions of major companies that print them like clothing does. Don't think the sales would be high enough to justify the printers and materials, and going through a 3rd party I'm not sure would be cheaper than someone just doing a custom print at one of the Dakimakura sites themselves.
- Niche Collectibles: Things like pins, cozeys, mugs, etc are tough to gauge. I have been to tons of conventions and have a cousin that is a professional artist that sets up booths at conventions. Convention goers will love it as free swag, but when it comes to selling, most are buying the art and books, not the trinkets. Sure, you'll find buyers for that iPhone cover or pin, but as only niche collectors will snag that stuff, is it worth the effort?

If we got a set of bookmarks out of this thread, I'd be very happy. :)
