when i run the prog with utorrent it downloads it i get a movie file but my media just says the data is corrupt!
first of all this is not pretty much of a request, but anyway
I am confused by your "run the prog with utorrent" running a program with utorrent is impossible. You simply have your .torrent file and run it with utorrent. Guess it ws a misspelling.
Well anyway when something says the media is corrupted you mostly need a certain codec, I don´t know which player you own.
But I recommend to things:
1. get VLC player cause it pretty much easy to use and supports hell lot formats
2. get a codec package like this one

I have this one and most videos (only .rmvb is not supported) work with it even in WindowsMediaPlayer.
