While campers can be frustrating, I think it's a solid strategy that you can and should use, and people that whine simply has to try to do better if they can't keep up.
I agree with FreeThought though, spawn camping (if possible) is a dick move.

Y'know what...I honestly wouldn't put it past Japan. "Have a rough natural disaster a few weeks ago? Then try our new 3DS game where girls are ranked by their tits and their clothes get torn off to make it all better!" That's just what the fuck this sounds like to me.Yea, cuz unlike the rest of the world, Japan dun just throw a tantrum and refuses to move as soon something bad happens but actually tries to keep going as usual.
Anyway, not really my kind of game. Feels like the kind that you play once for giggles and then never again.
It doesn't really matter if the commercial overshadows the product as long as the commercial is interesting. Then you remember it, and when you're out buying a new phone you might spot that one and go like "hey, that's the one from that cool commercial" and end up buying it anyway, even if you didn't care about it at all when you first saw it.
People are actually more likely to fall for such a trick rather than one from a commercial where they just brag and forces the phone down your throat.

So yea, just thought I'd make some free advertising for this game, since it's a pretty cool one =)

Jump right into the fray and wreak havoc with your own weapons, and unlike regular tower defenses you are a key part of the defense. Sanctum has taken the best features of first person shooters and tower defense games to create something totally unique.

One of the reasons I'm posting this is because the game is developed by former students of the same school (the University of Skövde) and program (Game Development) that I'm currently going. So pretty much, by my senpai. I want people to notice and check the game out because seeing the success of the people that has walked the very same path that we walking now is very motivational for the rest of us, making us feel that "this really isn't just a waste of time, if you work hard then it CAN lead to something.".
Whether the game is good or not is up to you to decide for yourself (it has actually had pretty good reviews so far), but please check it out. It will be released on Steam April 15 and if you pre-order it, you also get the Beta to play now before release (yea, two days >_>), and the price might go up at release, so heck why not just order it? =D Right now it's 13,49€, not too shabby.
I agree that this was a foolish move made by Anon, not mentioning that they are targeting the wrong people inside Sony as well.
Then again, it's not like I can't understand where they come from; if you have bought a PS3, then you own it, and it should be nobody but your own goddamn business what you do with it. Dling and playing games on a jailed PS3 is one thing, but it's not the jailbreak that should be illegal.

Success in terms of sales maybe, since prob. everyone and their grandmother bought it if they liked Origins, but not success in public reception then.

Haha, thanks for the tip, though I wasn't really asking for help as much as telling people about my dumbness and maybe prevent someone from doing the same. What concerns the icons they're fixed already, turned out after I rebooted the computer again that it was only shortcuts (i.e. icons on the desktop, taskbar and the start menu) that stayed with the notepad icon, so the damage was less and easier fixed than I thought.
Yea, you'll probably be able to avoid it in most situations. Was mostly me having a lot of windows popping up, trying to do too much at the same time, and thus as a result of carelessly closing them made the change. The fact that the menu bugged out was pretty annoying though >_> Then again, I think just a System Restore could have fixed it, but I had been playing around with other stuff I did NOT want to disappear as well, so that'd be a last resort.
Le fuuu-
So yea, somehow I accidentally (the result of being sloppy more like it) succeeded in making it so that all my EXE-files (aka. all the programs) are always opened with notepad. What's even better is that the "Open With" menu does not show up as it should (not that I think it would have helped as there's no "open as program" function in there anyway). SHIT, what to do? Nothing works, heck I can't even open the fucking task manager!
Luckily for me I still have Firefox open, so after some stressful googling I find a place where I can download the original register-file for the default settings for opening EXE-files (since I could not even open the fucking regedit and change the settings myself T_T). BA-ZAM, merge the .reg and it works after a quick restart of the computer.
Only problem now is that every EXE icon on the computer now has a notepad icon instead of its original one, so I have to change them all manually. OH JOY!
What did I learn from this? Be careful with "always open with" and don't be stupid and sloppy like me. If I didn't have the Internet browser opened, who knows what could have happened -_-
