Eh, does it really matter? I just find a cute or interesting picture related to anime and stick it up on the profile.

Because they're in the process of transition toward fixing whatever socioeconomic and political problems they have? Tell me, do you plant a seed and expect a tree to come out of the ground within a week with a hundred rings in it's trunk? Things take time, and countries and groups take more time than others.

So I finished Grisaia no Kajitsu. Most of the humor is hilarious so it was quite pleasant to read for long periods of time. Some of the content is on the Sci-Fi side of things (Michiru's route), but it's a minor dissatisfaction if a dissatisfaction at all.
I read some reviews about how the overarching story is lacking, and I would have to agree. I think the thought process on making this VN was to introduce the characters in this first game, and then continue the overarching story in the later games. After finishing the first game I'm left wanting more. Unfortunately, I doubt it'd be as pleasant to read the other games with a text-hook and machine translations.
So should you pick it up? Yea, it's worth getting introduced to the characters and their individual plots. The overarching story is brushed up on, but never detailed in any concrete way - a good way to build hype. If you can stand that type of tease, then start reading.

I don't particularly like or hate Bieber. Though I am jealous that he's younger than me and makes way more money.

Every once there's requests like these; some genuine, some from stupidity, and most out of curiosity. In other words, it's a fairly common question. Still don't get what I'm saying? Google it. Specifically, "learning Japanese".
Sigh, should the Western world ever find a need to create their own visual novels I would gladly quit my day job and become a script writer.

In general? CNN, NY Times, and Wall Street Journal. Gaming related? IGN and Kotaku. I tend to veer away from Reddit and 4ch, nothing wrong with them just a habit of mine.

It's hard to watch this series. On one hand it's funny to see the lead's failures, but on the other hand it's quite depressing how socially inferior she feels to other people.

We going by number of active players and largest subscription base? It's pretty obvious who's still the winner, unfortunately.
By preference? I'd vote GW2 or TERA, in the West. Can't comment on the Eastern MMOs since we're pretty much removed from all the exotic things out there in Korea and Japan.

I'm going to rephrase the question: will technology eventually remove the need for humans? Another important question is: what will happen to those whose jobs are displaced by technology?
Technology will never fully remove the need for humans since you'll still need humans to maintain and support those machines. I view it as a symbiotic relationship; the human maintains the machine and the machine maintains the human. Again, technology can only do so much without human input or interaction that fully autonomous machines seems so impractical to be impossible. There's only so many things a few billion if/then statements could ever cover in this vast universe.
As for those whose jobs are displaced by technology, pardon me, but I'd have to answer that with another question. Are some humans limited to learn a few set skills their entire life? If yes, then a culling will occur; those who cannot gain new skills will be tossed to the side and we'll have to deal with them similarly to the elderly who can no longer work. If no, then I imagine the job ladder shifting to where machines replace the lower levels and those currently in the lower levels are bumped up to maintain those machines.
tl;dr?
Technology will not remove the need for humans.
Those that cannot adapt will fall into depravity; those that can will have a better life.
