Like others, I don't really watch anime for the perversion; there's hentai for that. I like a good plot, good animation, good setting, good characters/development, and good voice acting. The fanservice is just a bonus that's been overused and abused.

This is me at Otakon this past weekend...and yes, I dressed up as Yuna x__x I was still a hentai-virgin here :(CLICK!
I came. Good Yuna cosplay.
The amount of Wapanese in here is killing me!!!
That aside, wow, I didn't think there was a real-life couple registerd at FAKKU! since Ziggy and Fiery Penguin of Doom. I think that's awesome. Well, enjoy your stay at FAKKU!, and hope to see some more participation in the near future.

Lol, the fact that he can't spell Katakana right makes me wonder if the guy's serious about learning Japanese.
You should be learning both at the same time. Kanji comes after.

Pro-choice. Taking care of a child is a huge responsibility. The parent(s) need to be able to support all of the child's needs if they plan to keep it. Looking at just the child's sake, choosing to bring a child into a world where you can not take care of it is more irresponsible than getting pregnant in the first place.
Also, the woman may simply not want to have a child. Maybe she's too young and wants to live her life. Maybe she's selfish and doesn't want to worry about a child and what the pregnancy will do to her body.
Men, you donated 50% of your genetic material, but the woman carries it around, having the baby literally attached to her body, for about 10 months. She has more of say in the matter than you do. Granted, it sucks if you want to keep it and she doesn't, but it's her body and her child, too. You can't force her.
However, when women use abortion as a form of birth control and abort even in the late second or third trimester, that's when I have a problem. Also, I hate when people say that the thing is a human being from the time the egg is fertilized, therefore it's murder. That's such bullshit. It hasn't developed nerve cells, a heart, etc. You're not killing a human being when it's so early in the pregnancy.
Your post pretty much sums up my own opinion on pro-choice. This pro-responsibility is bullcrap.
Some points for the pro-choice side that I believe in:
- It's the woman carrying the fetus, and therefore it's her body; what she does with it is her choice.
- Being pregnant from rape or after having sex with preventative measures should be able to be aborted.
- If the mother's health is at risk due to health complications from carrying the baby, an abortion should be allowed.
- If there is some sort of congenital defect detected in the fetus where there is a high probability of stillborn, an abortion should be allowed.
- If the financial situation of the mother is not suitable for raising a child, (running debt), a abortion should be allowed.
When you finish fapping to a h-manga, only to find out there's a second volume or third volume that you don't have. RAGE

tl;dr = It doesn't matter what you are just hide your power level at all costs. My power level is over nine-fucking thousand; can't hide that shit.
I do agree with your analysis of otakus and weaboos. Having been at a college that offered Japanese as a language of study, it's quite easy to tell who's in it for real and who's in it because it's cool. Like you said, people who only have a lukewarm/weaboo interest in the Japanese language tend to never pass the first level.

I don't want to increase my post count and because anything goes in IB, so it's cool, home dog. Home slice, Big dawg, Terrier smash, Smak tak, Lok nak, Lognistarig.
Oh yeah, I remember dropping Air even though everyone said it was good; I have yet to pick it up again, I guess it's because of how the girls look.
Whatever floats your boat, my man.
The fact that in the games, the novels, and the manga the Zerg are always back to kick both the Terran and Protoss butt show that the Zerg are probably the strongest out of the three. Granted, something of a plot twist happens in SC2, and we have no idea what will transpire in the next two installments of SC2, so maybe by then one race will stand victorious above the others.
Now if we were to go by gameplay, I wouldn't vote for either since one of SC's selling points that each race was completely even to each other.

I have to be honest in that I don't care what people do in their Meet & Greet thread so long as it's chill. Of course, the more information written, the more things to discuss. A format sounds too strict for this forum section.
However, I will agree that the trolling has to stop. As a Meet & Greet section, you want to actively dissuade users from joining FAKKU! with your trolling antics? You trolls have better things to do than that.

A word to the wise: watch at least 4 episodes into the series before deciding to drop it. If the 4th episode doesn't show some major plot improvement/advancement, I'd say it's safe to drop the series.
I've had so many series that I rewatched after dropping it that I can't remember.
Why is this in the IB section? The General discussion section for anime and manga is more fitting for this topic.

Wearing cat ears out everyday like that is a no. I remember one time at this store in the manga section, I was looking at some books and some girl was talking to this person saying some random anime stuff trying to be cute. Then she said her name was something, couldn't remember. but said she preferred to be called Mai.I raged.
Lol, I'd probably rage too. Then again, it's her prerogative to do what she believes is correct even if others would retch on sight.

Well, yes, they're obviously part of the story, but it didn't HAVE to be men. In fact, the story's really non-existant in general. More fighting would be fine.Well, if not men, then MORE women? As if Dead Fantasy didn't have enough...
Either way, I like to watch things with a plot because there's a resolution. If not, then it'd be pointless as it'd keep going forever and ever.

As an old fan of Monty's, I've gotta say, "WHY DID HE HAVE TO ADD MEN?!" Also, it's been lacking in awesome lately. I get the feeling he doesn't get as much enjoyment as he did before out of making these.I think the men are there to drive a plot. I'm really hoping Monty Oum isn't losing motivation, because as far as I can tell, his works have received major attention and applause. I'm still waiting on DF 6 to whatever-it-takes to finish the Dead Fantasy series.
When DF came out at conventions, people were jumping off the walls watching the new releases of DF. Hell, I would've jumped off the wall if I watched it live at Fanime:
DFIII at Fanime:
DFIV at Fanime:
DFV at Fanime:
You could literally hear the crowd orgasming. In the DFIII, you can hear someone go, "NOOOO!!!" Lollerz. I don't think the fanbase is ready to give up.
When it comes to snacks, you can't beat America and it's chips. Bad for you? Yes, but do they taste awesome? Hell yes.
I mean, Japanese snacks are good, especially if you get more than just the standard fare (Pocky, Pretz, dangos, etc.), but they never seem to jump out and grab you like the way American snacks do. Do the Japanese have Slim Jim? Nuh uh. Do the Japanese have Fruit by the Foot? Nuh uh. However, American cuisine leaves much to be desired in terms of variety and healthiness.
I just think that people are free to engage in whatever they believe in so long as they aren't obnoxious about it. I assume weaboos are pretty obnoxious, and you meet these types of people at conventions.

If you guys want to see some hardcore debate on abortion matter, check this thread out:
https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=20714
I guarantee you the debate will stimulate your mind into thinking about abortion from many aspects. You'll also have to forgive my little mindfart with Ziggy somewhere in the middle.

nope not a weeboo in my mind major point in bold. do you believe your japanese when your not is my point of this thread, unless you japanese then..Me, a Japanese? No, never. I'm too lazy and not disciplined enough to be a Japanese.
But then again, what do you call someone who's not Japanese but have accepted Japanese values, customs, and traditions? They consider themselves to be Japanese in the purest sense, barring skin color. Of course, if it was simply to get ahold of Japanese products and in spirit of materialism, that would invalidate him/her straight down to a weaboo-like status.
