I'm a guy who doesn't follow any of the current boxing news or media - I simply do it for the sport and fun of it because fuck, it's awesome at delivering damage and KOs with your two arms only. I actually got into it from watching Hajime no Ippo, and to this day I practice boxing when I can.
I suppose of all people I take after Mike Tyson in his agressive approach and guard (infighting), but I favor my right cross and right/left hooks instead of uppers and body blows. So, anybody up for discussing boxing techniques? Anybody box?

Yea, you can't say I practice JKD, but rather I follow the path of JKD. It isn't a martial art even if it hybridizes all sorts of fighting styles out there because it is up to the individual to experience, choose, and sift out what he or she needs to obtain the most efficient fighting for him/herself. Honestly, I think Bruce Lee was a fucking genius when it came to fighting. He's my idol if there was any. I studied and read up on a bit of JKD, but I don't think it's as complicated as others make it out to be.
