I think this warrants a philosphical view on this topic.
As far as I'm concerned, mankind has always been fighting to survive. To live is to fight. One cannot eat without killing another being in the process. Of course, humans have evolved since the Cro-magnon stage, and it's a bit more civilized, but there's not much difference between then and now, e.g. we farm and buy meat off the shelves. We still fight, whether through war or cyberwar, in the officespace or in the streets. Of course, we don't like to think of that as "fighting", but rather as "friendly competition". The only thing that reaches are ears and shocks us are the wars, the crimes, violence, and death. I don't think much thought was put in outside of that, but we fight all the time, just usually not on the same level as the more dramatic stuff I mentioned a sentence ago. You can even consider arguing as an inherent human desire to fight and assert his or her existence in terms of who's right.
Knowing this fact, I think we would be able to understand each other much better and how humans operate on the psychological level. We fight, but only if we have to, which I think goes for everyone one of us here.

Likes:1. the forums - I dwell in S.D. though but, I venture out when it's safe.
It's nevar safe!!
One other thing I forgot to mention was the lack of tags/categories on the releases. For a bondage enthusiast, it would make my life so much easier if I knew which releases had bondage/BDSM in it rather than random searching. But, to do that now would be ridiculous.
@Sephorai: I thought reviewing manga was reserved to the staff... I thought they got rid of that 10rep thing a while ago. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.
@FreeNadia: Hahaha... you were trying to be funny there right? Stop with the one-liners for goodness sake.
Likes:
1. the forums - a great place for anything and everything Jap and non-Jap related
2. the great trio that run the site and keep the site and forums going
3. the awesome people in the forums
4. no more forum crashes and faster page loading
5. the hentai and other goodies
Dislikes:
1. lack of moderation
2. messy sections within forums (random, user uploads, and a few others)
3. the new layout - there are some things I wish to bring back like knowing who's on, the last person who left a post in a thread, viewing past posts underneath when posting, etc.
That about sums it up.

@Jacob: holy shit, you play L4D! Join the Fakkuza group and we'll play L4D sometime.
For reiteration:
Steam (Left 4 Dead specific): Islidox
Starcraft: g-money/Islidox
Halo 2 PC: Islidox
edit: I also add/edit articles to the L4D's wiki page here: http://left4dead.wikia.com/

Just picked this up after looking at this thread. I have to admit I'm intrigued by this show, and the dick-rubbing is all part of the competition, nothing out of the norm. It makes it funnier as well. Since I just picked this show up after the Yakuza vs Mafia, I'm 1 and 0 for picking Spetznaz. I think the Shaolin monk will prevail over the Maoui warrior just because the Shaolin discipline and training are so much more than some native tribe can handle. These monks were trained to fight, disarm, and kill if necessary. No tribesman can overpower that, no matter how savage or sneaky. And these monks aren't dumb either, they know how to fight with their heads.
I was surprised at the two hooks' sharpness... chop pork indeed.
Another thing about Spetznaz vs. Green Beret was the calling the M4 a draw with the AK-74. I think they glossed over some of the facets of each gun. The M4 is so much versatile than the AK-74 or its origin the AK-47, with the addition of sights, grenade launcher, silencers, and the inclusion of the picatiny rail that allows additional gear to put on. But, the AK-74's strength lie in easier maintenance and less gun malfunctions than the M4. M4 wins in rate of fire but the AK-74 wins in range with both guns having similar muzzle velocities.

Mio in a lot of ways reminds me of many character designs all rolled into one. No clue there that she'll win.
The way I see it in the eyes of an olf fag, there a couple of things to note:
Since the beginning of FAKKU, the lax moderation was in effect and still is. Now that FAKKU is so much more famous, it's picked up a huge amount of traffic and new users, hence this site makeover, where there are some things I can complain about but overall isn't bad. With few moderators and even less activity, there are certain sections in this forum that have gone out of control, namely Random, User Uploads, and IB. Other sections that require minor cleanup are the Serious section, Manga and Doujinshi discussion section, the Games section, and now the Feedback and Suggestions section.
I attribute to lax moderation and the loss in intelligence in posts nowadays. Even the Serious section doesn't grab my attention as much as it did back then when I and other sparred on touchy and immportant subjects. The posts are one thing, but I do think that the forums is filled with litter galore, which needs cleanup, e.g. how Dragonball Evolution bashing threads exist in the Entertainment section? Exactly.

I think I posted in a similar topic before, but I'll give it a whiz.
I think I look a lot into the housewife/yamato Nadeshiko model, the maternal type that will take care of the kids and spend quality family time... though that's more in line with the Good Wife/Wise Mother model. However, I find that there are no females who match this model anymore, at least not in recent times. Kinda makes me think that I'm outdated.
Other than that, here are some traits that I would look for:
1. loyal, posesses great fidelity
2. passionate in bed/love
3. elegant, graceful - confident of herself in short
4. sensible, with common sense - a good head on her shoulders in short
5. good body, curvy but not a femme fatale, breast size from B to high C,
Bonuses that will be an instant win in my book:
Can enjoy anime/manga/games!
Digs bondage!! (Though I might be able to convince her if possible.)

What Women Want: 9/10
-1 for the cheesy moments, but other than that, I loved this awesome love/comedy movie with Mel Gibson and digging inside womens' heads.

Those to note: Beck
For anime that I'm not bothering to mention but by OST artists:
Yuki Kajiura (Noir, Hack series, My-Hime/Otome series)
Toshihiko Sahashi (Gundam SEED series, FMP! series, Hunter x Hunter series)
Taku Iwasaki (Kekkaishi, TTGL, Yakitate Japan!)
Joe Hisaishi (Miyazaki films: Spirited Away, Laputa, Totoro)
Kenji Kawai (Gundam 00, Gunparade March, Eden of the East)
Yoko Kanno (Escaflowne, Macross series, Cowboy Bebop)
These guys are the stuff when it comes to anime OSTs. Check them out by googling or wikiing their works. I guarantee that their works are famous in the anime community, and they have a lot of works in their names. (Even I was surprised at the sheer amount of anime that they composed OSTs for.)
