Antidepressants actually even lower the sexual libido for most people too. Especially SSRIs are nasty ones. I was given some SSRIs for my panic attacks, but I'm not taking them, I'm just telling my doctor that I do take them. Too many nasty side effects. Like increased suicidal ideation [size=10](especially in people under 27 or was it 30, cant remember)[/h], possibly permanent loss of sexual libido, can make it harder for women to get orgasms, helps men with premature ejaculation [size=10](BUT after stopping the medication, the premature ejaculations are usually worse than before the medication)[/h]. And there's many many other nasty side effects too, but you can read about at least some of them in wikipedia.
Many of the prescription drugs have nasty side effects that doctors know about, still they give them to people without even telling them about them (money money money, more important than the patient). So everyone should do people should do some googling before starting to take drugs and not just blindly believe in doctors.

Nah, no worries. I know I function much better when I use mine though, so I clearly needed/need them. I began them in middle school for recurring chronic depression; thankfully I am lots happier now but it still gets to me if I lay off the meds.
They did cut my libido quite a bit in my second year of college, much to then-bf and my dismays. Sucks...
Then again, my hormones usually kick in at least once a month anyhow so it balances things out!
