Hmm... I'm getting a lot of controversy over the "forced" tag that I added to one of the new manga.
While yes, it is not a show of excessive force, it DOES depict a sex act begun without consent and statements otherwise.
As a strong beleiver in "no means no", I tagged it "forced". User comments said otherwise, saying that this did not fall under the label. I have since removed the tag, as I try to listen to user opinions when tagging.
My question is: where should we taggers draw the line? I try to withhold my feminist bias for the most part, and want to give the Fakku community an accurate tagging of their manga, but at what point does a manga saying "no" NOT fall under the #forced group?
With the argument that "oh, no with an eventual yes/mindbreak means yes", wouldn't that be condoning rape and sexual assault acts as natural? I don't wish for that to happen, but I do want to guide users to the right label for what they seek and have come to expect from a genre.
Notes: in legal terms, rape is defined as lack of consent or clear dissent. This means even within a relationship/marriage, if the sex is unwanted by either partner, it is still rape.
I am willing to overlook that second fact for the sheer reason that most Fakku users probably don't want to consider it "real" rape, but please note it can be.
In addition, silence or lack of verbal consent also implies rape.
I will, for now, probably only be tagging more "forceful" rape and sex acts as #forced, but keep in mind I also try to weigh my choices against the real definitions of the term.

To make a truly good one, my guess is yes.To make a passable one, no, not at all.
I don't know, if the rumour that the Kama Sutra was created by a virgin holds water, I'd say all you really need is imagination.
True! Thinking of the physical act and variations is easy: it's story, character and dialog (all the signs of a trained writer with experience) as well as very visceral art and language (some idea gained from experience with sex, one hopes), that makes a great one.
Hey, if anyone is really knowledgeable in any particular one of these tag categories
( https://www.fakku.net/manga/tags ) message me any from your faves that need a tag added! I'm trying to get more into the categories for certain fetishes like NTR, chikan, futa, etc, that aren't tagged but I KNOW we have tons of!
Thanks all!

You must complete "The Gauntlet" as well as collect Kokiri's Emerald, Goron's Ruby, and Zora's Sapphire stone. Take them to The Temple of time and play the Song of Time. Then see if you are worthy to pull the Master Sword from its pedestal. Finally, bring some Eyedrops to the big Goron on Death Mountain. If you get there before time expires, we will let you join.
Also you have to sleep with Mike. Jacob didn't say this in the instructions he wrote me, but Mike assured me he probably just forgot to mention it.
SHIT FOR REAL?
Oh man.
Yeah... OP: the problem is that users would either add too many tags, the wrong ones, or just have differing opinions.
For now, it's a small group of us who check them over and confer with each other before making additions. :)
How about a general "S&M" tag?
For now, I try to put "milf" under "housewife", but yes, I agree... milf is a more inclusive term, they should be switched out.
Also, general question for other taggers here: are we saying more than one guy/girl in a sex act = group tag, while more than TWO females = harem tag?
The pic Jacob added for the tag shows what I know isn't a genuine "harem" manga, just one with three girls getting it on with the same man.
And is "kemonomimi" now covering fake animal ears as well? The latest addition made me think so...

So, anyone heard anything new about the situation on Japan yet?Several United States media outlets are reporting more about how the disaster is affecting the day-to-day lives of the Japanese people and how this will affect their culture from now on, rather than news pertaining to the disaster itself.
Yeah, it seems that a lot of the coverage is now being split between this and Libya now. I did hear on CNN that Japan has received less donations than both Katrina and Haiti.
I find that really hard to believe. Especially with the way the internet culture is. I can't go to an anime site without it mentioning raising money for Japan, along with tons of very popular Youtube channels. Hell, Soba-Scans alone has raised almost $900. For a small blog, that's a lot, and when you have tons of other sites doing it, and Youtube, etc etc. I feel like Japan's gotten a ton more publicity and eager helpers than Haiti at least.
I am betting a lot of the donations from actual Japanese citizens aren't being included in these comparisons.
Not much for it even though I'm legally allowed to consume it.
My experience goes as far as champagne really... I don't like wine that much, and don't drink beer (frankly have just not been in a situation where I was either allowed to have it or was offered it since then).

I am glad they all gave it time before swooping in to try and help. However, I'm sad for the atrocities that have occured in the meantime.
Ugh, the worst part about JAV porn is the SQUEAKY GIRLS. You can never tell from previews what they'll sound like, and fifty percent of the time they SQUEAK like rodents when they get over the top.
Real turn off.
Real turn off.
Used to have to from k-8th grade. thankfully in high school they let us wear our own stuff, but now I miss it.
Yeah, I went to an all girls school.
