I have mixed feelings on it. Tumblr has a large fat-lover AND fat-enabling community, but some women don't like the unwanted attention they get.
Also plenty of feeding-fetish stories from those ladies make me see the "fetish" as just wanting to control someone... it's pushing the line between embracing body image and enabling abusers.

I guess the point is that you can't know when its girl on futa or futa on futa because both can be tagged the same.
I don't think the tagging is wrong for the reason I already mentioned (the story tends to say if the character is a girl or not, so it doesn't have the ambiguous problem), but the suggested tags on page 1 would solve this of futa-futa and futa-girl problem.
I don't agree with it "not being yuri" though, it is, you just can't know what kind because of the issue above.
Hmm, I do see your point: people might become psyched for a manga then go to its mainpage to see a tag they don't want.
Maybe popup hover text could be implemented on mouseovers on pages that can't fit all a manga preview's tags?

OT:
I honestly had always dreamed of going to graduate school to learn art restoration/preservation/conservation, or historic preservation, or library science... but money's too tight for me to go back to school now that I'm just finished college.
So, right now I'd just like to:
- find a job so I can make at least money to cover "rent" of living home
- look for opportunities in the fields I mentioned above, possibly jobs
- get the fuck into shape again (let myself go most of college and it SHOWS)
- find a good boyfriend (it's been... almost three years since I dated anyone, and that was the only guy!), but we'll see if I find time...
- start living on my own!
Long long term goals?
- Get a job doing something I at least like; a job I love would be even better
- Keep traveling the globe when I can (some places I want to see, and some I wanna return to!)
- Keep good friends, and make more
- Learn every day
- Hopefully get laid before I die. At least this one, God, please?

Now, I'm not gonna get all academic-y here, but I think there's a great need for this tag on Fakku!. Why? Because there's a frequent trope of being "forced" (i.e. someone keeps going despite the other character explicitly saying "no," "stop," etc.) but then at the end it's revealed they have reciprocated feelings, so it's all well and good.

Personally I don't find such a situation to be fully "forced" or "vanilla" - sure, it ends happily, but there's still the fact that consent wasn't clearly established. For some readers that could be a trigger-y situation (if they're particularly sensitive to issues of consent due to past trauma or otherwise). At the same time, "rape" can be stigmatizing and turn people away from manga that they might end up liking.
There's also dub-con of misunderstanding (see Love Mixing for an example).
In that case, I think it's even more appropriate to have a dub-con tag because it's closer to rape (at least, in my opinion).
Anyway, I hope this gets considered because I think it would be an asset for users with specific tastes.
I really, REALLy agree on this dub-con thing.
There are so many manga that I (and the eyes of the law of almost all first-world countries) would call rape.
However, in the eyes of a lot of the users here, they seem to view the end result (NO NO NO ending on a small yes) as "not rape".
I try to keep my firm morals and law sense out of my tagging, and this type of tag would be useful on manga that are neither vanilla nor overtly forceful.
