Well, he said it himself at the end: there are things so embarrassing, you can only do them in games. He probably thought that his girlfriend wouldn't be in for playing a slutty bunny. And he most probably hasn't seen his girl for a while (they could be in a long distance relationship as the girl wanted to surprise him by showing up a day early - which would be pretty much pointless if they are able to see each other every day) and needed to blow off some steam...
