I am considering bringing this back on a more permanent basis, is that something you would all like to see? Any ideas for content to add to the game?

Yes, yes, yes!!!

Some time ago there had an user at the subscription forum a nice idea about the game:
One could add a pokemon like aspect and introduce the possibility to catch a creature (e.g. a tentacle, skeleton or something new like a loli) and fight with it instead of a sword. Also one could get rare items by logging in some days in a row or beeing subscriber for some time.

My idea would be a flexible achievement similar to the one that shows how many years one has an account on fakku, for example one that states the level, something like level 75 Loli Master or Level 100 Skeleton King or something of that kind

I´m a little sad that the scanlations were removed, but I also understand why the free content had to go (and donwloaded everyhing I wanted to keep before it was removed). And it's not like there are no other sites one can use to get his daily dose of scanlations. So I stay here for the quality translations and get the rest on another site...

As we continue to grow, the variety of content we publish will grow with us. You may have noticed the poll on the front page asking which genres people would like to see us publish, we take that feedback seriously.

That is really good to hear, because like a lot of other people I really miss some nice monster girl stories. At the moment there is only one story with this tag on fakku, so your statement raises my hopes!

Great game and I can even play it on my IPad!

The physical copies are gems in every collection

Getting rid of the unlicensed content was a really big step for us, it will now allow us to focus on everything we want to do. It is entirely possible for us to sell individual digital editions of the magazines and even print them in paperback (though the later is much less likely).

While whole issues in print would be amazing albeit unlikely. Would a once a year magazine with all of that years covers in it be doable? some of those covers are just so awesome it kinda sucks not being able to collect them physically.

But please oversized and hardcover!

So i came up with a basic idea that might be workable. Keep subs as are, but once a magazine has been around for 3-6 months allow for downloads with a subscription and free viewing for those without. I obviously have no idea what FAKKU plans but timed exclusivity for subs might be a decent half way point.

Someone said there might be a purchasable issue option soon.

The more choices they can build up for distribution of content the better.

They could make an option to buy an issue which would be free for subscribers. So a non subscriber could buy single issues if he wants and a normal subscriber would get a reward for his loyalty

Would you only sell the completed issues? or would you also sell it before its completely translated and they would have access as the chapters are released?

On a side note one thing to keep in mind is how well the ideas transfer to coded features, if something gets over complex it could end up running into issues when launched.

Buying the whole issue in advance is really a good idea but you would need a release tune table (like with the book chapters): if you don't have a fixed timeline it could take like forever until you get the complete issue and I don't know if someone would buy an issue and wait three months for it...

So far it seems like they have been able to keep up with releasing the whole magazine in the month it comes out in so I don't think that's too much of an issue.
A calendar of release dates would be nice, even if its only a week ahead, being able to see whats coming would be nice.

Would be really great if they would handle it like this!

I just love hentai. That's all that matters.

And that is exactly the reason why I pay for the subscription, enjoy my premium content and don't whine about it!

Seem legit.

So true...
Reading all the newly created topics about the lost favorites lets me sometimes think that I´m the only one who took the time and backed up his god damn collection...
GODsHandOnEarth (Not-so-)Grim Reaper
Up till now my favorite stories would be Lovely Toy, Start Line, Memory Pow Pow and Strawberry is a secret flavor.

Still waiting for the sequel of Sister Complex which probably will never happen...
GODsHandOnEarth (Not-so-)Grim Reaper
Okay, now my favorite page was also cleaned...
GODsHandOnEarth (Not-so-)Grim Reaper
Maybe because while reading the books you can jump chapters and at the moment the beta reader wouldn't support that function
GODsHandOnEarth (Not-so-)Grim Reaper
I love Hyocorou's drawing style, so I must obviously say Melty Gaze. Also this was the first fakku book I ever bought...

You get the same book, but you don't get the digital edition along with the paperback. That's the main incentive to buy directly from us (also I put a little piece of my beard hair in every package we send out).

The piece of beard hair alone is a tempting offer...

So your scanlations don´t appear in your favorites list?
I still can see my complete favorites, I simply can´t read the ones that were removed, but maybe as the day progresses they will be removed from my list too...

Mine were there the other day whether I could read them or not but now it's been completely wiped of everything that isn't licensed (which was almost all of it).

Don't take any chances and export your collection list ASAP.

I see...
Thank God i exported my favorites already and backed up every scanlated story that seemed interesting!
GODsHandOnEarth (Not-so-)Grim Reaper
As today the scanlations were removed from fakku also fakkudl went down.
I thought it would be the right moment to thank @waterflame for the work which was put into the offical inoffical fakku downloader and the fakku suite.
You made our lifes easier, my friend!
GODsHandOnEarth (Not-so-)Grim Reaper
Because they want to become complete legal?
