Vanilla is a widely-used pleasant flavour used in sweets, such as ice creams and cakes. People like the taste, and it's fairly recognisable as a flavour, so there's big demand for it. Likewise, vanilla sex is inoffensive and lovey-dovey, and people eat that shit up. No pun intended.

It's just the easiest comparison to make when it comes to consensual heterosexual sex with a happy ending. It's inoffensive, pleasant, widely-used as a genre, and everyone likes it.

It being a standard and inoffensive flavour, as mentioned previously, is also why the term is used to refer to an unmodified game client. "Vanilla Minecraft" for example, refers to a bog-standard Minecraft game client without resource packs or mods.

I'm not a key worker so we've been closed for a little over a week now. My workplace thinks this might last through to July. Trying to keep occupied by playing games I've been meaning to finish. I've also started playing Animal Crossing New Horizons; my first AC game. It's alright but there's a few things about the gameplay mechanics that irks me, like the game refusing to plant a tree because you don't have your shovel out so you have to bring it out manually, then do it again. Game works on a grid system but you can't see where you're aiming so I've dug in the wrong spots plenty of times. It's also one of those games where crafting only takes into account what you have on you; it ignores resources in storage which you can only access by going in your house which requires a loading screen to go in and another to leave. A lot of menu surfing because of that. Have all AC games been like that?

I've not really watched much TV for a few years now, and I don't watch much anime these days. Instead I mostly watch random youtube videos. Come to think of it, I was watching the Nekopara anime every week but I've not watched the past 3 episodes. lol oops.

When I went shopping the other day both Poundland and ASDA had run out completely of bog roll, and ASDA was completely cleaned out of milk save for one bottle that'd been crushed, and some of the smaller bottles of milk you can chug in one go. The only Tesco in my town center doesn't do it, as it's just Tesco Express. Had to go to some obscure place called One-Stop for some bog roll.

10 rolls should last a couple of weeks but if we run out and I can't find any more, I may just opt to have a shower after shitting. I don't use a flannel to wash myself I use my bare hands, so I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and I wash my hands after I get out. But it really shouldn't get to that point.

I often opt to read shit by tags and read down the list. Due to the way the site's set up though, like you mentioned, I have to shift-click to keep a tab open to keep where I was or else have to go into my browse history or right click the Back button to go back to that page. Since I use Chrome it only shows me the last 12 pages I visited, and since each page on the manga reader is its own web page, there's usually about 20 pages to wade through to go back.
