one of mine, shadowbandit, and futanari's buddies who was the camera man this year has his pictures up and are very nice looking take a look http://www.flickr.com/photos/ayamenee/Ugh, I missed a lot of people at this con, but I had fun hanging out with friends. I did see Jacob working at the Sanshee booth, but I was too shy and starstruck to say anything lmao
I'll be cosplaying, hopefully I run into some fellow Fakku members this time. ^^;
Friday: Elpeo Puru from Gundam ZZ
Saturday: Strawberry from No More Heroes
Sunday: Benio Shinada from Star Driver
I'm also cosplaying as Shin-chan from Crayon Shin Chan (a mascot suit lol) on Sunday, at Funimation's booth from 4:30pm-5:30pm for an autograph session, and again at 9:30pm for a panel at LP3. Say hi if you see me!

I think this could work, you'd just have to re-position the clips and straighten the curls out a bit. If you order it now, you should get with time to spare for Otakon, I ordered a wig here recently and it took maybe 2 weeks to arrive using (free!) standard shipping.
If you want to stick with US sellers, I'd recommend Arda Wigs, buy a short wig + 2 ponytail clips. I really like the Rose Pink color, though Bubblegum Pink might work too! Epic Cosplay is also worth checking out, but this would require some custom dyeing. They have other colors that would work better for Momoka, but you'd have to stub the wig which is really annoying. ^^; Anyway, I hope this helps~

Here you go, and there happens to be a con this weekend! lol
I was born and raised in Santa Ana, but I currently live in Anaheim. 8D You could always check out the Discovery Science Center and hit up Main Place Mall afterwards, since they're right next to each other.
I have no experience modding stuff like that, but you might want to look into this tutorial? It's easy to follow, plus all the materials can be easily found at a craft store. I hope this helpful. u___u Good luck!
Hmm, about 36 hours or so. The first time was during high school, my best friend and I stayed up all night playing Metal Gear Solid, but more recently I've stayed up all night a few times watching anime on Netflix. It really messes with my sleep schedule, so I try to not make a habit of it. ^^;

I hope there's a Fakku pane. I'll be dressed as the Zeon Flag wielding Laughing Man.Ah, were you at the Gundam Gathering accompanying the adorable Four cosplayer?
If you're going to buy stuff at a con, usually the last day is the best day to buy stuff, dealers will discount stuff so they don't have as much merchandise to bring back with them. xD
If you're local to SoCal, I'd definitely recommend stopping by Frank & Son, get there early because parking is terrible (and bring cash!)... but this is 100x better than any Dealers Room at a con, you can find all sorts of rare plushies, model kits, gashaphon, etc. plus you can haggle. :D As far as online shops go, I've ordered some of my figures from Anime Castle plus they do free standard shipping over orders of $85.

In-progress:
- SD Gundam (from 1996) Qubeley
- G Generation Qubeley
- HGUC Geara Zulu
The progress pics I have aren't very exciting and don't really show much anyway, but I'll post some in a few weeks when I don't have other hobbies eating up 99% of my free time. ^^; It's really hard for me to get past the priming stage and actually start painting my kits, luckily I have a few friends I can ask for help and and one who owns an airbrush~

My younger brother's into anime (and cosplay) as well, we started watching it around the same time. I'm not sure what he's currently watching, though I want to say his favorite anime is probably Bleach or Naruto.
My dad would sit down and watch anime with us whenever he was home, and I always remember him talking about Trigun a lot. lol

I watch both (I voted for dubs lol), though lately I've been keeping up with newer shows, I've been watching mostly subs. I know we're talking English subs or dubs, but a majority of Tagalog dubs I've watched were horrendous in comparison. xD
I voted for Windows. I owned an iMac for about 2 years and it just wasn't for me, eventually I had Vista installed on it which confused a lot of people. lol
I'm still terrified of clowns because of Killer Clowns from Outer Space and It, and in high school I insisted on watching Event Horizon because it had Sam Neill (a.k.a. the dinosaur man from Jurassic Park) in it, as a result I had nightmares for 2 weeks straight.
While it isn't a movie, reading House of Leaves made me paranoid about closets and dark spaces in general for a few months. ^^;
