Well, assuming the small amount of information provided by Kotaku is accurate, I'm not terribly impressed. Sounds more like a PSP1.5. Akin to the upgrade of the DSLite to the DSi. Bigger screen, dual-analogs and probably bigger onboard memory storage. That's not a new handheld, that is an upgrade of the PSP. That and lately I've been hugely disappointed with the PSP library. No amount of innovations to the handheld will help if there isn't a good library of games to support it. Of course, that's all a matter of personal taste.

How about just designing the PSP2 around the PS2 controller, it doesn't take much that simple knowledge unless they want to compete in the power house (3DS and Apple), but let's be clear on what we want on our PSP2:
- Redesign those numbs to analog stick, I don't mine them but when playing KH BBS, it feels like hell just turning the wheel.
- Keep the UMD, may not be the biggest innovation but I want to keep my games around for a while incase the memory card gets corrupted and such.
- Isn't the PSP already region free?
- Have more people involve when designing a game, have seen very few games that actually interest me, but would like to creativity as the games are being handed down to the casual crowd more now for the quick buck sessions.
- Put some effort into making the system look and operate good, calibrate whatever is needed (10 hours of bettery life would be nice), and don't become Apple.
It is a mess in the industry right now, there is still some ripple effects from the last console war (PS2, XBOX, GC) and right now they been hitting walls by how this generation has been (DLC, direct dowload, large game library, etc.)
The most likely step would be to go into the clouds (cloud computing) potentionally knocking the used game sale in Gamestop (companies are trying to slow down the used game sale as they earn no profit from them). Now the one thing that may be keeping the release of a new console would be library of games (who shall desing for them); just look alone at the PSP, a system that doesn't have many interesting games for the public (sorry if I offended anyone, but that is how it is looking currently). Eventually graphics need to improve (as always) but isn't it advancing too fast as our eyes can catch only so much.
I do have to beg the question on why Nintendo haven't updated their Wii system (in graphic, memory expansion, and overall) if not to 1080 but to at least 720, and have better saving options; in addition to gaming transfer (and accounts)

It depends, on Pokemon as a male; reason is I want to show the PK world the amount of ass-grinding time I put into raising my team, until a wild pokemon kicks my ass or my friends.
So it will be a 50/50, depending the game.

Good old days, played it in the Dreamcast version and it rock (the only thing that was dissapointing was Big the Cat games). The second was alright, but the tedious thing was finding the emeralds with Knucles and Rougue; especially their items (it was torture at times where one needed to go), but still enjoyed it.

Played the game with my brother and it was awesome (just thinking about it makes my mouth watery). Just need to get money points to buy the full version and rock on.

It's a simple business tacktick they have for your chass (money), trade in more and it will double in the amount (wish I didn't trade those games)
I hope they fix some of the characters voices, they sound bad in their actions.

Bought it and beat it in around a week, trying now Proud mode and it's no easy task, until I get the Cure ability (maybe); reserving Critical mode for Aqua.
I must admit that they mix both KH 1-2 and Chain of Memories battle systems together to make a new experience. Quite enjoying making new abilities.

Wii being "kiddie game console"...as everyone said "have the pacience to look over all the crap other companies release to find your gems". The Wii has them, but there just being block by other games.

Sony & Microsoft being reeled into Nintendo's net of 'catch up'.
The only way this two devices may work; on the words of a Sony Execute story in Gamespot "If publishers (EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc) release games that didn't do so well on the Wii (respectively); then don't release them on our system if you expect the same failure. Make changes on how you develop games, not just quick buck-it".
And no, not interested in buying a glowing dildo (I already have that) or a camera where I need to do shit on (computer camera comes close to this).

Just blew me away finding out it actually got release outside of Japan. Most recent sequel is Lunar Knights.
Hard to say as I adapt to anything, may say Gsmecube controller. Egonomics all over the place.
