Where can we donate?Well I guess there is no actual way to donate right now. Does anyone know a good donation service that allows for adult websites to take part? Because PayPal does not.
So if you don't know what last.fm is, it's basically a site that records what music you are listening to on your computer. You can then share your likes and dislikes with other people and discover new music.
My profile is: http://www.last.fm/user/LargeHotCoffee
Mine is not very accurate to what I am usually listening to, as it is only connected to one of my computers, but it can give you a general idea.
If you have your own last.fm profile share it in this topic!

Jacob, do you do anything to your eyebrows? They just seem so... ;o I don't even know what they seem like, just seem so full in a neat/tidy way.LostQuartet wrote...
I've actually always wondered that myself. Do tell, Jacob.Actually yeah I do make sure my eyebrows stay clean and tidy. I am a believer that any unnecessary body hair is well.. unnecessary. Plus I think that when a guy has overgrown eyebrows he is immediately unappealing to people.
Basically we need more servers again, and that requires more money. Anyone is will to donate towards this cause.
Currently we have 4 servers.

With Fanime only two weeks away I figured I'd announce some new conventions we will be attending. We will be at A-Kon in Dallas, Texas instead of Collosalcon in Ohio (sorry Ohio) the weekend of June 3rd. We will also now be at Anime Next in Somerset, New Jersey June 18th, and we'll most likely do some panels there.
There is also the Conventions tab up top that lists all of the conventions we will be attending.
And just because I have nothing else to say, here is my Geddan video again.

Fanime is coming quick! And we will will have a booth in the Dealer's Room. I have constructed this handy map to help you find the quickest possible route. Unfortunately we won't be hosting any panels, but come by and say hello to me and check out our stuff.
This will be my first time visiting San Jose and attending Fanime. I have heard alot of good things about the convention and FLOW is performing (Colors was the superior Code Geass OP), so I'm excited.
And I made a Facebook event for everyone attending.

If it makes you guys feel any better there have been a bunch of times where my friends have called me up after seeing someone on the train or on campus wearing a Hen-Tie or FAKKU shirt. But I don't think they ever go up and say anything.
If I ever see anyone wearing one in public I will run up and say hello.

I want to personally thank (>'.')>¿;= who spent two weeks in Japan and sent us these awesome gifts!

As you can see these are the full tankoubons for Love Selection by Kisaragi Gunma, Tayu Tayu by Yamatogawa, and (I believe) Menkui! by Tosh. The first two you can find on the site and the third is around the forums somewhere.

Again, thank you! We will make good use of these.

If you think someone is breaking the rules in a post, it's simple, report the post. A moderator will read it and take action if necessary. We get quite a bit of reports about things that are not actually breaking the rules, we ignore those reports.
It has always been my goal to have the forums run with as little moderation as possible. I believe moderators should only step in when something or someone has a negative affect on the community, not when something fails to have a positive affect. I have seen what happens to most forums when they become a circle jerk of moderators and admins doing whatever they please unrestrained, and I will make sure we never reach that point. Therefore moderators here only exercise their powers when the situation calls for it. This view has not always worked perfectly, but it has done a very good job up until now. I never want a moderator to stop being a user of FAKKU first and foremost.
Everything a moderator or administrator does is logged, whether it be: deleting a post, deleting a topic, moving a topic, editing a post, or banning a user. Nothing is ever deleted, only moved or hidden. If you think a moderator is somehow abusing their power all you have to do is bring it to my attention. I am quite easy to get in contact with.
That said I choose my moderators and admins very carefully. Not to sound lame but I want warriors who will fight hard for me if the situation arises. I need to be able to trust them 100% to both have my back and do what they think is best for FAKKU. My time for moderating is limited but I assure you that I am always watching over things from a distance. I may not always agree with every single action another moderator or administrator makes, but I'm OK with that. This is not a tyranny and I like having different opinions. There are very good reasons why I asked each staff member to join the staff.
If someone is moderator of a particular forum it is because I feel they embody the "character" of that forum. Same goes for global moderators but on a larger scale. I only look for specific forum moderators when a particular forum hits a certain activity level and becomes too active for global moderators to handle alone.
Additionally there is no "time limit" on how long a user has to be on the site before I consider them for a staff position. Nikon and Raze both got their jobs after a few months of being members here, Raze probably sooner than that. And the FAKKU staff list is always updated. Most recently TheDarkStarAlchemist has joined our ranks as moderator of the Requests forum. So to think I am not paying attention to things and not choosing new moderators is false, I simply don't see the need for more at the moment.
