Jacob Posts
I have been away for the past week or so (good to see the site didn't explode while I was gone). The other admins/moderators did a great job keeping things in order. My inbox is full of unread emails so anyone who sent me an email should be getting a reply before the end of the day. Don't think I was ignoring you.
Here is a cute picture to go along with this unexciting post.
EDIT: The games section wasn't working properly, it has been fixed.

I came across this random page and found the shirt funny enough to post here on FAKKU. I can't tell whats on the back of her shirt, but I'm sure it's equally funny. This isn't the first time I have seen funny shirt slogans in hentai and I doubt it will be the last. If you have any similar screenshots feel free to post them in this thread.
The artist is Miray Ozaki who did all of The Great Escape.

Awesome buys! I hope you share the experience with us, I have never been and I'm interested to know what it's like.

http://cache.imagefap.com/images/full/39/140/140317827.jpgAlright, here is a picture of the advertisement. Where it says "skip page", when you click on it the browser relocates you to another website. If you hit the "back" button, it takes you back to the doujin for a split second and then goes back to the advertisement above.
Image does not work, if you give me the link it directs you to it would be easier.
I would like to once again point out our release from yesterday, 15 Bishoujo Hyouryuuki OVA #1. I know the translation team worked very hard on it and they deserve thanks. And there is now a working torrent for those that didn't use the DDL.
We are now running an XDCC distro bot in the IRC channel (finally)! Not only is it hosting this latest anime release but it also has all of our old anime releases. All you need to do is join our IRC channel with a working client (the web based IRC will not work) and type the following to download 15 Bishoujo Hyouryuuki:
/msg Hagu-chan XDCC SEND 10
Or if you'd like to see all the anime she is hosting:
/msg Hagu-chan XDCC LIST
The IRC channel is #FAKKU on irc.rizon.net (you should lurk in there anyway). And for anyone curious Hagu-chan is named after the one and only Hagu from Honey and Clover.

And some users have contributed a guide on how to work IRC for those with no experience.

A lot of the ads are automatically accepted, all you need to do is tell me the specific ad that is causing problems and I will disable it.
Well everyone it's that time of the year again. Right now in Japan people are waiting in line, pushing and shoving, all to get their hands on the latest manga and doujinshi available. And fortunately we don't have to leave the comfort of our own homes.
Thus begins, The Complete C76 Thread!
As usual anyone is welcome to post their own scans, or anything they come across, inside the topic. Just make sure you read the rules in the first post before you do. You can find some more recent pictures over at keroyon's Photostream

Well, Bakemonogatari was ok... but several parts are very over-dramatized, and slow, or there are too many inconsistencies during speech, with random flashing slide shows... also, they abuse blood in it, using as much gore as possbile, when it really isn't necessary to generate the desired effect... oh, and the main character bleeds too easily...I think it's pretty cool to be honest.

Since I don't take recommendations so easily, I'm holding this until I find some good opinion from people..It's an anime about staplers. What's not to like?
Bakemonogatari.

But really that goes for anything produced by Shaft.
Feel free to post anything you think is worth checking out as well.

Even if you read this, I doubt my comments mean anything to you. The internet is always a dictatorship. Leader being the one who pays for the server. This is not a dictatorship. A lot of discussion goes into just about everything done on FAKKU. Except for the occasional decisions I make that end up destroying the server.

Going to have to jump in and give my opinion on the matter. I can see why Jacob would do this, but I just wish he would hold these standards to all the other staff. Now, I hate to throw KLoWn under a bus, but here I go.KLoWn wrote...

AND at the end credits there's no music but you hear the main character getting it on a chickSo everyone that gets laid is GAR now? Guess that makes everyone GAR except you

How is that any better than calling someone an idiot? Not to mention it was actually on the site, rather than an off site chatroom. I'm not saying Jacob doesn't run a good site; he does. What I'm saying is that if you're going to strip power from one staff member for insulting a user, you should hold that standard to all staff members that insult a member of the userbase.

There was more to this decision than that particular comment.
