*Fakku! is a wildly popular site that translates lots of awesome doujins. I found out about Fakku through 4chan (hurr) and was very amused about the tons of people approaching the table like "HOLY SHIT FAKKU IS HERE???!!?!1one" Seriously though, check it out (if you're over 18, that is.) And Jacob is a cool dude.
So you may remember me talking about the trip to PortCon my friends and I took a few weeks ago. Well we were selling a bunch of shirts we designed (some of which you can see us wearing in this picture). And while we were there we met a very talented girl in the booth next to us and she drew us this awesome chibi picture!
If anyone is interested she does commissions and I'm sure that she could use the work being a struggling art student with no money. So feel free to ask her about it on her deviantART.

Yeah it's blocked off to anyone that doesn't have permission, which is the admins and select translators. Maybe eventually regular users will be able to upload to the site.

It's cool that you're advertising and all, but I recall you asking for donations and such not that long ago--is Fakku so financially well off that it can afford to run ads? I think you should be saving up your spare cash for servers and bandwidth rather than ads, so you don't have to do another donation drive again.I use my own money to pay for advertising. orz

That is odd, because I just tried firefox, latest revision on both mac and w32 and for me the box shows up just fine.Got any extensions running? I know it's tedious, but try disabling them one by one and seeing what happens, so the cause can be isolated.
Don't have any extensions at all running with FF.

Yeah it's probably the CSS file being cached in your browser. Clear the cache and let me know if the problem remains.

As you may have noticed front page updates have been more frequent now that outside translators have begun posting directly to the site. As such, I encourage you to check the front page daily for multiple updates so that you don't miss anything. And be sure to scroll down and read all the posts!
Quick convention update, myself and a few admins will be attending the following conventions over the next month. I'll post more info on them over the next few weeks, chances are we will have some meetups and whatnot.
