As far as I know it was only a few links that weren't working, I'm fixing them now.

I really really really want the forums to stay and continue to be active as much as possible. I will do everything I can to make everyone want to post. This includes stepping up moderation on trolls/retarded posters. And I would like to see the IRC more active as well, though if you guys use this chat site that's fine too.

Things are still rocky, as you have no doubt noticed. In addition to stabilizing the server I will slowly be fixing some parts of the site that remain broken. Reply to this post and let me know what needs to be fixed. I will edit it as I fix things.

Part 1

Fixed comment pagination on Manga.
Fixed users can comment on games (though replying to other users is still broken)

Part 2

Fixed some of the download links on the file server that were broken.
Fixed Divi-Dead, you can now play it online.
Fixed user registration, new accounts can once again be created.
Fixed the mark all forums read link.
Fixed the RSS Feed.
Fixed the Edit Your Profile options. They will no longer reset if you change them.
Fixed the translator links on the viewmanga pages.

They are green boxes because you are using IE6, which is stupid. Upgrade your browser.

Temporary

Besides the massive style improvement across the entire site, there are a huge amount of changes and improvements. Here are some of the most significant changes:

- The video section has been divided into Hentai Anime, Hentai Shorts, and Cosplay Porn
- Divi-Dead has been added (and is playable online) in the Flash Games section
- Added a Visual Novel section to games
- Download links have been completely reworked
- Users can add their own download links to content on the site (more details here)
- Users can reply directly to other user comments on manga, videos, and games
- The site is significantly wider, increased from 800px to 960px
- The IRC page now automatically inputs your username into the client
- The default size of images in image topics has been increased
- Max avatar size has been increased to 260 x 160
- Users can choose to hide both avatars and signatures on the forums (this can be adjusted in your profile)
- The viewforum page now shows a short description of each topic (this can be adjusted in your profile)
- Post numbers are now displayed on forum posts
- User can report dead download links for content on the site
- Sorting options have been added to the game and video sections (language, producer, etc.)
- Popular forum categories have been added to the top menu
- All stylesheets are external
- For obvious reasons, you should subscribe to our RSS feed

And here is a list of things that haven't been finished yet, but are being worked on.

- The image section
- User favorites
- User profiles
- Editing manga, game, and video information
- Private Messaging
- Comments on Games and Videos

There are undoubtedly quite a few things that are still broken, most likely due to me not having time to fix them them(rather than not knowing). But if you come across anything that isn't working, post in this thread. And Shuugo over at Konachan helped me a lot with configuring the new server the past few days, so thank you Shuugo.

And of course, this wouldn't be an update without some fapping material.

Users can add their own download links to any manga, game, or video on the site. However, the links can only be hosted on a short list of free file hosts, nothing else. We are open to adding and removing file hosts from this list, but we will be very strict about those that we allow. Currently accepted hosts are:

To add download links to content, click the "Download Links" tab on the view page. The click "Add Download Link" in the top right corner.


Also there is an order to how the links are displayed on the download page (obviously links on the top of the list will be downloaded more by the users, so they are more valuable), the links are sorted by the reputation of the user that uploaded them (in descending order).

So if Jacob adds a link and has 92 reputation, Nikon adds a link and has 13 reputation, and then Raze adds a link and has 81 reputation, the links will look like this:

Jacob (92 reptuation) link
Raze (81 reptuation) link
Nikon (13 reptuation) link

We will be giving preferential treatment to links provided by the original translation group. Currently we do not give any preferential treatment to files hosted directly on FAKKU! (though this will most likely change in the future).

In order highlight the increased resolution of topic images, how about a poll!

First, tomorrow I will be taking a long drive out to the printing company to pick up the second batch of Hen-Tie shirts. Second, the new server will (most likely) be live before the week is over! FAKKU as you know it will be going down for 2 - 3 days while we migrate everything over to our new home. That was g-money, and I will probably enable the memberlist when the new server goes online.

Hopefully the new server will solve all of our problems. And it should be online within 2 weeks.
