I was always hesitant to go to anime conventions, as it can be seen as the first step into becoming a true "otaku". But after going to a few I have to see it's a really good time. Of course idiots roam rampant, but they are easily ignored. The only problem I run into is not having enough money to buy the massive amount of things that I want.

What does everyone think of anime conventions? And if you've been which ones have you gone too?

For anyone watching the new anime season you might want to check out Strike Witches, it's about loli robot magical flying catgirl witches that never wear pants (who are also WW2 fighter planes). A combination only Japan would dare to come up with, and so far a good one. And some others to check out.. Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Soul Eater (a guilty pleasure, mainly thanks to eruka frog), and of course Code Geass R2.

Something else worth checking out is the anime figure portal on dannychoo. Danny has a lot of industry connections that let him get "behind the scenes" of various figure manufacturers, and he doesn't hesitate to share what he learns.


I am thinking of adding some more RSS feeds to the site. Perhaps one that lists all of the latest releases, one that lists all of the latest images (once they are back online), and one for the front page news? What does everyone think?

Ok wow, I'm stepping in.

As someone who has been in many relationships I know how important having someone by your side is. Being in a relationship and sharing yourself both physically and emotionally with another person is incredibly rewarding. And honestly anyone who says otherwise or thinks girls are "just for sex" has never experienced a mature relationship.. or is a complete idiot.

But I completely agree that men are walking hard-ons who only think with their penises.

And to briefly touch on another point, the whole "feminist power movement" being referred to is a bit over the top. If anything, women making a point of demanding equal rights only helps to spread the idea that they don't have equal rights to begin with.

But like anything some people are just stupid, both male and female. It is ignorant to generalize that simple fact to a specific sex.

I am tempted just to delete this topic but I want people to read this post so... thread LOCKED.

Wow I had no idea there was an anime, let me know how it is. I also have really enjoyed playing the game but never had the time to beat it.
