Find a complete list of anime airing this season here. What are you watching this season? I've been following Aldnoah Zero, JoJo's, Parasyte, Yuri Kuma, and a few others.

Let me know if you have any more issues and I'll get them fixed
I never introduced, explained, or listed all of the achievements!
Eventually I will do all of that in this topic.

There's also an unusual amount of celebration threads up now. Is February really that lonely?Valentine's Day. People found their first love on FAKKU.

It seems regarding that html in some cases works, i.e. coloring but is deleted after applying?Color/font size styling was disabled a year or two ago.

Funny how I was just re-reading the forum rules as these ads have been getting worse and I see this still there "Do NOT use an avatar that has reproductive organs (penis/vagina) in it"
=__= sigh... the ads at the bottom of the screen.. must be one set of rules for us here and another for admins
Well for one, the rules are horribly outdated.
The rules are definitely outdated, I'll update them sometime soon.

One issue. I remember that there was a certain cutoff point for the forums. Users with accounts made before the cutoff point have their profile URLs as such:https://www.fakku.net/users/artcellrox
Users with their accounts made after the cutoff point have their URLs as such:
https://www.fakku.net/users/jmaerk-3891015
Excluding that number from the URL (if it exists) yields no result.
So my main question about this is, how does it affect mentions? Do we need to include that number when mentioning someone?
Yes you have to include the numbers. Eventually we'll add an auto suggest once you start typing the @ symbol, but not for a while. Though FAKKU Gold users will be able to rename themselves and change their profile handle at any time.

You can mention a specific user in your post (similar to Twitter) by using an ampersand followed by the users FAKKU handle.
You mean an at sign followed by the Fakku handle, right? Ampersand is what you get when you do shift-7. ;)
Oops. Thanks for pointing out my incompetence, fixed.

Why can I no longer put a spoiler in a spoiler I request you should be able to do this again.Spoiler:
Spoiler:
There is any reason why you can't see the content of a spoiler while previewing a post?
That's definitely a bug, I'll get the post preview fixed up later this week.

also some stuff doesnt work anymore, like embedded youtube (see here) and spoilers in signatures, for some reason.okay, the old youtube style with ".*" doesnt work anymore, so all pre-this update made YT embeds are affected
Just update your signature and any problems should be fixed, assuming you're code is all correct. We did drop the old ".*" Youtube thing, it was actually the result of a long standing bug that I cleaned up.
YouTube videos should work without any problems:

As an example the 1st print run of the Hen-Tie shirt had text on it, only 300 with text were ever made.Ah, I still remember how disappointed I was that I did not have the money to buy it at the time and only got mine after those were gone. Especially after seeing people post pictures of their shirts with the accompanying hand-numbered post-its. (IIRC, first print textless shirts got numbered as well? Those are obviously harder to keep apart from later prints, though.)
Ah yeah you remember! @artystic drew little pieces of artwork on post-it notes for anyone that ordered a shirt from that first 300. It took quite a bit of extra time to have all those made. We even themed the art to each username (even the guy named "shittingdicknipples")
Looking back that shirt design is really what got everything started on our store and FAKKU attending conventions and all that. Without the Hen-Tie shirt we probably wouldn't be publishing these books today.

We can consider the 1st edition as a collectors item.Definitely! You all have a copy of the first book FAKKU ever published. There is a lot of value tied to that 1st edition (especially since it's already sold out). Plus you can bring it to a convention we're at and get it signed. As an example the 1st print run of the Hen-Tie shirt had text on it, only 300 with text were ever made.

It'll be a while before we reprint Renai Sample, but when we do we'll definitely be updating it. We learned some more things about the printing process while working on PuniKano and Peachy-Butt Girls that we'll be doing with all of our books. We'll probably have it reprinted by July.Any major corrections or anything of the sort, or just print quality type things?
Mainly print quality things, we might reword some of the dialogue but nothing major. Later no this year when we start printing a 2nd edition we'll have a lot more info. Right now we're mostly focused on our next few books and another big announcement we have coming.
That's cool. For the record I'm pretty happy with how it came out. There were a few pages that got slightly cut off due to misalignment but nothing terrible really. Obviously it's something you want to avoid if you can but not a deal breaker (for me at least).
I'm looking forward to that big announcement though, I'm checking here like 3 times a day lol
I'm really happy with the 1st edition of Renai Sample, and perhaps most importantly the publishers in Japan and Homunculus were both impressed. They legitimately said it was the highest quality English manga printing they'd ever seen. We just want to do even better than that.
That next big announcement is probably a month or two away, but it's gonna be big. We also have some big things planned for this years Anime Expo.
