Love Selection is licensed by Mangerotica and unfortunately they have no plans to reprint the book. I am in talks with them about making the digital version available on FAKKU, but I don't have high hopes for a positive outcome.

Fixed! Sorry for the delay, 36 hours is definitely too long.

We've learned that it takes about 2 - 3 months for a book to go through the whole printing process. PuniKano should be all set in Febuary and our three new books should be good for March. Renai Sample was the exception because we had to learn the whole process.

Don't worry this has nothing to do with DRM. The options are to have a month or two pre-order window before anything is available or to release chapters as we finish them (which is what we are doing now). This is a brand new market so we don't know what the best distribution method is for these books, so we'll be trying lots of different things to see what people like (you can read a bit more about it here).

It's hard to believe that 8 years have passed since I built FAKKU in my tiny college dorm room in Massachusetts. I've told the story a few times but it really comes down to one thing, this all spawned out of my love for one girl... Asuka Langley Soryu. You may not agree with me that she is the best top tier s rank waifu, but that is obviously because you have bad taste. Because she is clearly the best and my love for her continues to this day. In fact, the first upload ever on FAKKU was an Asuka doujinshi!

I debuted FAKKU to the public on December 1st, 2006. Back then we had no ads on the site and survived entirely on user donations. Users helped the site grow by sharing our links on messages boards, chans, games of Warcraft 3, anywhere and everywhere to get people to visit and stick around. In preparation for this post I was looking through some of my old comments from back then, it turns out back in February 2007 (three months after FAKKU went online) I posted the following: "The future for FAKKU is looking awesome. Soon we will have multiple people uploading manga directly to the site, which means a ton of updates every single day. Eventually I want to start translating the more popular manga titles, I want to talk with Japanese publishers and get them to ship us the actual manga and sell it on the site. There is so much that FAKKU still has in store!"

Now, 8 years later, we have achieved all of my initial goals and more. And it really is we who accomplished it, none of this would have happened without all of you. When it comes down to it I was just a perverted kid who wanted to fap to Asuka hentai, you drove me and everyone else who has been a part of FAKKU over the years to do the best we could. And now we have achieved the unbelievable, we are working with the artists we have been fans of for all these years! So to celebrate our anniversary we will be releasing our next three books with chapters uploaded daily throughout the month of December building up to Christmas. Full book downloads will be available at the end of the month when all the chapters have been posted!

Thank you for an amazing 8 years FAKKU, I can't wait to see what we achieve in the next 8!
