Worst harem lead? It's gotta be Makoto Itou from School Days.

It's easy to hate this bastard on a face level and given that he engages in polyamourous relationships, he makes other harem leads look like small fry compared to his dickery. This guy is serious BS. It's like a version of a ladies' man hopped up on Viagra and the Tiger Woods syndrome. The consolation prize with him is that in the anime, he got a justifiable ending.

Honorable mention goes to Natsuru Senou of Kampfer. Quite the dull guy we have here. Maybe painfully unaware that three girls are seriously aiming for his heart, worst of it is he got the hots for a girl outside his harem. Plus side to him is he's hot in girl form, and he's a real friend in times of the girls' needs. The magnitude of his stupidity is heightened by the fact that Shizuku already kissed him, took him out on a date and let him touch her breasts willingly, but still he ain't got a clue.

Has a tsundere loli for an avatar... are you feeling Louise-like tonight? ^^

Tsundere loli? That's a 10/10 for me, any day.

I think that Japanese generally disregard Western aesthetics when it comes to armor and/or protective clothing, unless it serves some purpose depending on the setting (like F/SN's Saber and Princess Lover's Sylvia van Hossen). Maybe their ideology is that lesser protection means faster fighting capability. Only that when they're going for lesser body protection, most anime studios, manga creators, game developers and character designers tend to hit two birds with one stone as a cost-effective measure, involving fanservice with the design of the "body protection", hence the "skimpy clothing".

They do tend to overuse it, which most of us may agree to, partly because we're accustomed to modernised Western ideas, to seeing badass women in lots of protective clothing and/or non-revealing garments with lesser show of skin, where the only revealing things remaining are the curves. My point is, maybe it's in our point of view as outsiders looking in Japan... we're the ones most likely to notice the skimpiness factor is being overused. And maybe over in Japan, it's not, and maybe their fanboys are calling for even more skin to be shown.

Or maybe some of us are looking for badass in the wrong places.

But I kind of admire his balls to stick to his guns. Other wrestlers might go all fake and smile and happy-tag with Trish even if they feel otherwise, JoMo went for the full monty.

- Damn those are cheesy vocals. I was offered 100 bucks to sing "Tragedy" once in an office pool, even if it was bad. I declined, I'd surely end up butchering the song and be the butt of office jokes for a year.
