The problem is that WWE is suffering from too many talents in one pool. There are so many midcarders that they can't push them all at the same time. Some get title shots, some get Superstars time. And believe me, some get to don Swagger's eagle, and guess who it is.

But in a closer point of view, WWE is trying to see which young wrestlers will rise to the occasion given the timeframe. It's an internal competition to see which wrestlers are top-card material and which are enhancement talents. WWE may lose some wrestlers along the way (MVP, Kaval), but will greatly benefit from the long run.

You know, if only Kaval had stellar matches and had a convincing finisher, WWE may have retained him like how they saw Bryan Danielson had top matches with Jericho and Batista. Sadly, he can't shed his indie star mindset.
