Armors has been able to protect them from arrows to a point. (read Yoshtisune the manga or Sanzoku Ou)

Translators mostly work for free, and they mostly translate doujins that they like. simple as that.
The "fappers" community doesn't have the right to control the translators community. Translators not obliged to translate all doujins. As the "fappers" community we can only do is sit and watch. And the "fapppers" community are already benefiting from free translations, asking for more than that is just douchbaggery.
Yes, a database would be good, but who'll organize the large amount of translator groups? It won't work.

Nobody has the right to tell or suggest to any fansub group what to sub or not. fansubs group do it because they like what they do and what they sub. they don’t do it for the fans and so they should not be obligated to be limited themselves to what other groups are planning to do. it does not matter which group sub what first or not. a year or two ago their were hardly any groups subbing hentai and the fact that the demand has finally come where there are more than one group out there subbing not only makes me happy but i believe to all as a whole. if you look at regular anime and manga you see many different types groups clashing at each other and no one seem to be bother by that.

In the past the "What food did you eat today" was as spamable as the posts in meet and greet. Wher epeople would just post an answer without discussing anything. It got moved to the Chat thread If I recall it right. Same goes to the "what music did you hear today" thread

It also depends on "love" too. If I REALLY liked a game, I'll try and buy the limited ver. if it's available. even though it only has an OST and artbook.
