The last arc is really convoluted and forced. I still don't understand why it suddenly became a Fists Vs Weapons fight. and the whole Shigure kidnapped thing was kinda pointless in the end... >_>

I'm more concerned with "Black Captain America" with Sam Wilson AKA Falcon. As Loki also had the genderbender treatment so there's no "real" argument for me.

I honestly don't really care, but why don't they just actually push forward pre-existing characters rather than just shoe horn gender and race into a famous role.

Like actual Black Captain America's in the past, Isaiah Bradley or his son Josiah.(his grandson Elijah is too young)

I was pretty hyped when she appeared as a character in the last event, and her appearance means she'll be a card. And adding the fact that she died horribly in Taimanin Asagi 3 and without any H-scenes... lol

I Have 9 Gatch tickets and 2 HR, probably will wait till they have another set that actually adds the probability like the previous one. Don't like the new ones anyway.

Starting to stagnate in getting new ones. Had started 2 construction for BBs, and had the same timer, 4h20m, which means it's either a Fusou Class or Kaga...But then I got 2 Yamashiro Instead.

honestly After i started playing KanColle, I now get sad when I read on how they were sunk/scrapped.

Just to add on why it has gained a raging popularity. Besides being cute and all, KanColle characters are voiced, has backstory and you can actually marry the girls in-game.

Also the anime is coming



My faves is Atago (Blonde Takao class), Kirishima and Kaga/Asagi

I just want to make it clear that as long as the story is still in progress he cannot and will not die as he's protected by the writer, and the only place that he can actually die is at the end of story. Akame ga Kill, despite the gruesome deaths and dark themes is still a Shonen story and it will follow the tropes of the Shonen Genre. As the main male protagonist in a Shonen story he's an essential character for the demographic, killing him mid story is illogical to the genre as it will alienate the main demographic, young teen boys. Also despite the mangas name, Akame is not the one carrying the story of the manga, everything is from Tatsumi's POV.

The main point of plot armor and "anybody is not safe" is about characters that can die in the midst of a story arc and their death will not halt the progress of the story, Both Akame and Tatsumi will not and cannot actually die until the end of the story, because they have plot armors as the main character that moves the story.

Also Legend of the Galactic Heroes actually doesn't fit the bill because:
1. It's originally from a Novel, which instantly invalids it as once more has significant differences in how it was written when compared how the current manga industry works.
2. The main character of Ginga ended the story with his death, not that much different from the ones you mentioned before.

If you can't fight them, then Join the Fleet...lol

-Most of them died at the "end", no one here is implying that Tatsumi cannot die at the "end".
-All of the above mentioned are not adapted from a manga series, which instantly makes a significant difference as one has it's story planned out and released in parts with that plan subjected to change every time, while the ones mentioned have their stories completed before their release.

Find me one example of a main protagonist from a manga series that died without any character replacement/retconed afterwards by means of revival.

Nah, Tatsumi is also safe since he's the Male protagonist. Anyone else isn't.
