Yup, fans can only do is hop on aboard the bandwagon. They can suggests directions, but it won't guarantee to have a direct affect to the developers. Fans are free to get off the bandwagon, if they don't like the ride, the developers doesn't care anyway if they still have the majority of the fans on their bandwagon.

Go change your unicode settings to japanese, and try reading some of the early posts in this thread, since this has been asked more than 20 times.
