lol, another one that got confused.
like I said, this is more about Vns that only has a simple Love Story, not heavily spiced with other things to show that Love is strong. The problem with Romeo and Juliet : overdrama, Family feud and suicides as a plot device.
Look at To Heart 2, that VN still retains it's popularity till this time with only a simple love story. Or even Better To Heart which has become an Icon in the Otaku culture despite it doesn't rely on Heavy drama for a plot device.
It'a not about how strong the couples Love or what makes love so special.
It's about the simplicity of the Love Story itself, which I think is declining in the VN industry.

yup, it's the wrong example, Romeo and Juilet's drama was Over the top, the fight between the two family, suicides, sad ending...
In the end the most notable example is the VN "True Love".
In the end this can be "The Decline of Dating Sims Vns"

I suck alot of gameplay stuff, get tired of it easily and just wanna read the story, lol. I enjoy just reading. Well, I guess I will soon, since I already downloaded Baldr Sky 2, and want to know why so many people praised it. hopefully it's not some grind grind level up game like some *cough*alicesoft*cough*.
The gameplay is not as complicated as you think. it's basically your shooter action game.
the only grinding is gonna be the weapons system, the more you use it and damage enemies with it, it get's stronger and better (only 3 levels) but theres a bunch of weapons to pick. But there's no free grinding. So, pick a combo and stick with it.
there's only 3 attack buttons, 1 Super Attack and a Heat gauge to limit your weapon usage.
Successful weapon comboing can extend the Heat gauge.
Try it, you won't lose anything. :D (well, except your precious time XD)

I counted for you, around 20 out of 100, in addition, this list is a couple years old already. Thats why it didn't take into account the newer games.
