@kikouken: also... don't forget your knife. A lot of people seem to underestimate exactly how good it is. Chip damage attributes a LOT to codys poke game and you still retain hitconfirms into CU or ruffian.

Most of Cody's real damaging stuff is corner-only, though from midscreen you can still get in some of his CH stuff in. From midscreen though you mainly want to combo into ruffian or use zonk if only to position them in the corner so you can go to town.

Revised version, its kinda character specific, and it's harder to pull off on characters who fall faster. Still viable against most though:

CH c.HP, EX rocks, c.HP, LP criminal upper, EX criminal upper.

again, forget the damage but I know it deals 812 stun. Also means that if you follow up with f+MP, c.MP, HP criminal upper (which is ridiculously easy since f+MP is +7 on hit, so the combo is pretty much guaranteed if it connects) they're instantly stunned.

A lot of Cody's best stuff is corner only, or at least near the corner, because it's so easy to bait a counter hit with him due to how good his normals are at frame trapping people.

Actually the damage is like... 450 or so. Dunno the actual numbers off the top of my head, I've got it written diwn though, lol.

i pulled off CH. c.FP, EX rocks, c.FP, EX criminal upper in an actual match the other day, does 771 stun and a shitload of damage. Other guy probably went "WTF", lol.

I've been fighting some U1 Hakans lately. Oiled throw range is ridiculous, along with his normals.

Yukiko is a 10.

And his speed. And amage. Ex snakestrike. Stun. Divekick. EX messiah. Two good ultras. Etc.

Rufus is the best in the game for a reason. Doesn't help that he got tools to deal with his bad matchups and that other characters got nerfed.
