Just prepping the veggies and other stuff. The actual cooks did the cooking but we take rounds being their assistants. African food is interesting but I bet I'll get sick of it by the end of the week.

Not like they're gonna take a decade to release it now that they've released Ground Zeroes. That thing is literally a demo reel for Phantom Pain.Regardless, don't die any time soon, we can't lose you just yet Anzei.
Well gents, I'm on canteen duty today so I'm leaving for now. See you all when I see you.
Aww if you were a girl I would have followed ya in the subway and do things to ya. But yer not, sadly. Anyway, goodluck with yer canteen duty.
HA! That's quite flattering in its own way. Though if that were the case, you'd have to work pretty damn hard to try anything funny with me.

Completely off topic but Sony Online Entertainment (Guys that made Planetside 2) will be making a zombie survival game with a massive persistent world with 2000 players in each server. Some of my japanese gaming friends say it's the DayZ Standalone killer, because they're actually focusing on the survival aspect of the game.Game is called "H1Z1" by the way.

Kinda excited about it. Cuz...Sony. And it's F2P. That and MGS Phantom Pain....I want MGS Phantom Pain...
That looks interesting, I'd certainly try it if I ever get the time and am at home to play it. Phantom Pain as well, always a fan of MGS series.
New Simcity game was an embarrassment, just another example of how EA has fucked itself over for me.
Haha, no matter I'm no way religious even in the slightest. All that matters is whose the highest bidder. But damn, that game certainly gives you a lot of options.
@Lance, yeah that seems like a mighty fine girl. I'm not on the lookout for any but she'd probably catch my eye for sure.

Norinco Type-56, scavenged from my welcoming party on first convoy run. Closest I'll ever get to an orignal AK, it's served me good since then.
Good to hear, Data.
I'm stuck in an outpost just at Somali border, letting my boredom creep and my imagination flourish trying to think of ways to pass the time. Was cleaning and running my raifu the other day, she is in pristine condition now but it's a shame I can't keep her.
Never played the Tropico franchise, I'm more in the line of serving/removing dictators than being one myself.

It's pretty good, lean and tender is definitely words that describe it. We're culling them to the point where the meat is sold extensively at grocery stores meat section.
Still smoking, eh?
I've yet to take it up again. Though if I was, this'd be the prime time to. . . I probably won't though.

Ah, that's interesting. Obsessive people are indeed a dangerous thing. Still, glad it ended on the good side of things. Would've been sad to lose you so soon, Anzei. Impossible though, you'll live on forever as our old sage.
Hello Data, Ace Combat got you stuck to the screen?
@Lance, that is true. Especially since AR style rifles have their mag release accessible only on one side. Sure, you can pay a bit and get an ambi mag release but the form still wouldn't feel right the other way around.

Ah so Val already told you. Yeah pretty absurd. We're also culling down the kangaroos as well but we haven't responded to it as badly as with the Emu war. Occasionally we see a kangaroo or two hoping around in our barracks so then we hunt them down. That's about as close as it gets to that.
Fun times though when we get to organize a day off to hunt kangaroos.

Yeah, took a 54R to my left shoulder. Still gets sore sometimes when I wake up but I'm fine for the most part. Stabbed in the arm is pretty bad, I've gotten away with cuts at worse.
And ya, Belarus. Her yandere like obsession with Russia was pretty adorable, though I sympathize with Russia having to go through such ordeals.
@Lance, SCAR-L would also mean this could apply to most rifles using AR-15 placement. I'd have to think for that one, don't handle AR-15 type rifles that often.

I'd have to be a pretty bad CO to forget my one and only chef, Anzei. How've you been, you old one.
I'll get to you on that Lance.
While it is more logical to reload your firearm with your off-side hand, I don't find reloading with your trigger hand to be an unusual practice as there are definitely situations where you'll need to do it. Most of the ones I imagine of are situations where you've only one hand to operate with, this would be with a pistol clearly.
It can be applicable with an AK. Since the charging handle is located on the right side where your trigger hand is at(if you're right handed), you supposedly could shorten the loading process by using your trigger hand to load and cock the rifle in one fell swoop.
Honestly though, I haven't thought of that. I might have to try this one of these days.
