well I certainly do enjoy so many stuff you've been churning out, including that one =)

nothing much. I've been writing out a Touhou fanfiction though, it wasn't that well-received after all. I think, it was so badly received because it has a really weird storytelling means that was much different than the usual things they've read.

oh that one, from what I just read it tells about a railway disaster in the epic retelling similar to the Titanic incident.

I don't really know the meaning of this one, care to tell me what it's really about?

I have so little knowledge about poetry. the one I knew was probably something along the lines of Robert Frost and William Shakespeare.

there's also Rabindranath Tagore, but I don't really understand what I'm reading when I tried skimming the first parts of 'Gitanjali'

poetry's just too deep for me in its entirety man. I just well, most of time just feel up the words, and if I can't really feel them, I can't even began to understand them, not even a bit =)

well, I think those with tragic endings or story lines are there to induce awareness of the unfairness going around our society, so the ones trampled upon could see finally get the helping hand they deserved. that is, if we look at it in a positive way.

or should we say, the Author by itself loves to induce a feeling of Schadenfreude and could care less about humanity.

well I think some people might prefer a positive perspective about how life works, that's probably one reason why you loathed it. for myself, I don't care much about the others' opinions on how to live my life and just decide what works best for me.

I think it's just a mere viewpoint from the Author, definitely not the absolute truth as there's so many ways to look up on something. not saying whether I agreed or disagreed with the message, I just think about it as a story. if you want to learn about reality, just go look at the reality itself.

well maybe some other time since there's the thing with the word limit and I'm currently completely lost on what to remove and what to add (got no real ideas too) =D

or maybe by the next attempt I'll try to be more descriptive about the storytelling lol =)

yeah it's a scene break, it's just something I do out of habit lol, maybe I need something to indicate a transition so it's simply there =)

that was brilliant, I guess we know that the world was ruled by flattery and fakeness =D

I enjoyed the entry for its touch of dark humor. for a moment I thought that you'd be going off with something on a serious note, or other gritty and sinister things which was kind of outside my preference and I kind of hard time digesting. but after I skimmed through, skipping the erotic scenes (not being a prude but I just somehow skipped it) - I eventually laughed at the moment the protagonist smacked the girl with a toilet seat - that was groovy.

as much as I'm kind of lost on what's happening down some parts, I still get the general idea of the story. liked the ending where the protagonist just ordered some whisky without giving a fuck about what's happened, I think I began to like the guy with all the crazy shit going on and his actions were =)

my opinions are somehow similar to Leonard as I kind having trouble understanding the entire story. though as I am not up for comprehensive reading except if the story's easy enough to understand, and I mostly only skim the interesting parts, you can just blame me up for this one.

I think the word limit might be the cause for this one. maybe, going up with much simply written story could just do the trick, and toning down the descriptive things in order for the words to solely guide the reader rather than making them have to imagine every detail - I for myself won't risk hurting my brain for my poor imagination to go through the imaginative stages.

well I think again, it might not be to your preference to write simpler stuff.

for what I've read, this appears like a prologue or a climax, or even both, to an even bigger story. I can't really comment about the story, as the most part I caught was about the potato chips. I also have troubles relating to the characters because of them being so many in number yet I don't even know the significance of their roles are. if I were to write something, I mostly go on with as few characters as possible, but try to give them a special role, not just some bystander with dialogues that sounded mostly the same just to advance the story.

the story might be much better imo, if the readers could somehow establish an emotional connection with the characters, with a conclusion which really concludes something. I think, as I skimmed through the ending, the conclusion doesn't seem to give an answer, but as for myself who didn't really get things from the beginning, I can't really form an opinion of that.

nah, please don't reply with lengthy explanations about what's actually happen and what's supposed to happen, my brain might hurt from that. just get back at that by writing something much easier to understand. last but not least, I applaud your effort for getting into the detailed descriptions, even though it's not my preference.

either way, good work. at least it deserves a thumbs up from me =D
