No this is the new "Origin" of Devil May Cry since it's a reboot DmC. Reboot means they started again the series, means the old DMC1,2,3,4 are gone to this DmC storyline. This is now our new origins of DmC.


If they're gonna continue the franchise to DMC5 they'll will recton Dante's past, unless they keep it as a separate storyline later on with a new development team will either continue the storyline of the original DMC or this DmC.

I play male and female characters.

I always open 2 accounts. But if a certain game has a male and female character I always choose the female first then the male. Unless you need to unlock certain characters.

I asked about the history in regard to the game being a reboot of the series, and asked if there were any changes to the original story in the previous titles, and Leo couldn’t say much, but he did say “In the original story Dante was born with white hair, but here he’s not. So, a few changes have been made, but I’d just like to say as I think it’s important that we aren’t ruling out the possibility of a Devil May Cry 5 to continue the story. We just want to see where the reboot goes first, before making any further decisions”.

Seems they're gonna redo EVERYTHING from scratch. So they've rebooted the original backstories for this. They're gonna push for this hit or fail, then a next possible DMC 5.

The bad thing here is EVERYTHING will change due to the fact they rebooted the series unless they continue the old numbered DMC storyline and just keep this DmC reboot away from the DMC storyline.

Seems to me here they're adding Marvel characters which have "Story Connections" on the current Marvel comics. Wolverin/X23, Savage Hulk/Modok...etc.

While Capcom brings in obscure characters from their games which some have new releases like Bionic Commando's Spencer.

Ninja Theory told to “go crazy” with Dante redesign

Looks like Ninja Theory isn’t much to blame for Dante’s redesign in the upcoming reboot of Devil May Cry. According to Ninja Theory’s Nina Kristensen, Capcom gave the company to go ahead to “go crazy” when the designing new Dante.

“The concepts for Dante went through a lot of different iterations – they went all over the place – we went really far out with some,” Kristensen told Develop. “The first time we sent our initial concepts to Capcom Japan, they said no, no you need to push it way further.

“Because, obviously, Dante is a big character for Capcom, we stuck fairly close to the original design template. But Japan said we needed to go much further, go crazy with it, and so we did.”

The original voice actor on Domon is now a doctor. He pursued a new career as doctor, which leaves us with a new VA on Domon's U.S. counter part.

Man I love this game! Problem though my first game of Gundam Mosou was Japanese so didn't understand the endings. 2 came out translated, but had a bad dub on my favorite Gundam character Domon. Iam glad they made a 3rd part which every Gundam has a new buff on there moveset most especially G-Gundam/Burning Gundam.

You'll notice here G-gundam's palm wave now inflicts damage to multiple enemies at once and his downward kick now also damages multiple enemies. As in every game this Gundam has been in his attack and critical rate damage rises when HP is low. Iam hoping for Shinning Unit and Nobel Gundam as well.

EDIT:

The 2 previous games G-Gundam had range problems since it only punches which lacks range, it'll take 4th combo before his attacks get a good range and yes his shot SUCKS! But has the strongest melee damage in return. Best used here overall on my part is Turn A gundam.
