So been playing smash on 3DS and I have to say it's great. The controls take a little getting used to but after a few hours I got the hang of it. Getting used to using L to grab is gonna take a while though...

tbh I think the relic shield from Dominion is better because at least it regenerates and it still gives a damage buff with the arc lightning. Not to mention the enemy having perma-vison on you sucks for champs like Twitch or Rengar (or Garen. No Schrodinger's bush here).

I mean it's a good change of pace but since it's just fighting and no objectives other than the occasional relic and Xerath it does get stale pretty quickly. At the very least there's a proper arena mode now though.

Well both games I played we were destroying them so it would make sense why I managed to get Perfect Ascension.

People seem to forget that being ascended only gives you health and damage buffs. it doesn't raise you defenses and it gives you reduced healing.
