I used to think that the problems in my life were because of the sins I've committed, but I realized that it isn't true. The bible says that the consequences of sin is death/hell, not earthly misfortunes. Good things happen to both good and bad people, and bad things happen to both good and bad people; Matt 5:45 "He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous".
my resolution is to be able to dunk by the end of the year.
I can't even touch the rim yet, so it's gonna be a lot of work

I wouldn't be able to kill my true love.
now, if my true love was on the main track, and I could pull the switch to kill 5 people, I would be more hesitant.

...Now I'm assuming this question doesn't actually have an answer, but I have to ask. What do you parents expect you to do? Randomly propose to women, and hope that one of is either 1 lustful enough for you or 2 extremely desperate to get married. I mean I don't see how you couldn't have a girlfriend prior to unless the marriage was arranged. Even assuming the best circumstances, and the person actually cares about you then yes she was your girlfriend. I guess some people see it as not official until you've actually said it, but if you were close enough to get married then she might has well been your girlfriend.
every time I ask, they say something about a courtship... yeah, I need to move out
Also this quote here "girlfriends are bad, they break your heart like a plate, and you'll be broken the rest of your life". makes it sound like they're so overprotective they're willing to say you're not strong enough move on so you won't be hurt in the first place.
I think she just needed to tell me some reason why I shouldn't have a gf, so she pulled out this BS. I was like, 6 or 7, so I just believed her.
the relationship of our parents will most likely be the biggest influence of our opinion of relationships. We look around at our environment to decide what "normal" behavior is. We don't necessarily act like what we think is normal, but it does still affect our actions.
I grew up in a nice family, 2 sisters and 1 brother. My parent got along really well, they're still married after about 30 years. My Father is always in a very bad mood from all the stress of work, though this doesn't hurt their relationship. They raised me Christian, and told me tons of stuff that I now know is total BS. They said I was never allowed to have a girlfriend; I could only get married -___- . My parents lived together for a few years before they got married, so my parents are hypocrites. they told me (when I was like... 6) stuff like "girlfriends are bad, they break your heart like a plate, and you'll be broken the rest of your life". I grew up being told stuff like this, and it wasn't until I was about 14 when I started to decide for myself how I'll live.
I decided to disregard what my parents told me, and figure out my future lovelife by myself. I have no experience with relationships, however, I've seen other's relationships, and have learned from their experience. I've noticed that a strikingly large amount of relationships end really soon, which I think is because there is no love, but selfish lust. I want a relationship where there is love; caring about him/her more than yourself. I think it's kinda ironic, how lust is the opposite of love, yet people use the word "love" to mean lust.
Right now, I hardly meet any new girls, and even if I did, I still live with my parents, who still have those BS rules. I hope to move out soon so I can finally get on with my life

The only sentimental reason why I wouldn't fap to an anime girl would be because I don't like that particular couple.
meaning, if it was something like Hinata Hyuga x Kakashi Hatake, I wouldn't fap to it

I love summer, simply because of no school. I always hated school, so summer was what I basically lived for

Technically, everything we know of are "man-made terms" so I believe a man-made term for something such as "time" could be a natural force(if it is one). Such as gravity, that is a man-made term for the pull from an object is it not? Gravity is a name for a natural force. Maybe I'm using the wrong words. Time is a man-made concept, that is nothing more than measuring the consistent motion of objects.
I don't see technology as a problem; it's made our lives much better. Technology has created more dangerous weapons, but it also increased our medical capabilities, so it evens out. Everything else is out there for our convenience, and it's our choice whether or not we use it.
I think there's a lot of laziness and stupidity as a result of technology, but I don't blame technology for that (don't blame the tool, blame the user)

time is a man-made term; it is created by measuring objects of consistent motion. It started with sunrise (the consistent motion of the earth's rotation), and we called it a "day". later, we used the consistent speed of a pendulum to measure what we call a "second". we digitized the measurement of a second, and use it as the world's artificial "time". this "time" does not alter, it's not a circle, it doesn't speed up or slow down. Time is just as consistent as the object it's based on, meaning, time is 100% constant.
Ah. But then, what of gravity? It warps time and space, figured out by the famous E=mc^2, I believe.
I don't understand how E=mc^2 proves that time can be warped, but I don't want to argue about all those crazy quantum theories, since as of now, they are only theories.
Although it is a man-made term, it does in fact, exist then.
so you admit that it's a man-made term and not a natural "force"? then why do you think it can be "warped" or "repeated"?
Because for some reason, there is consistent motion, the forces of gravity, friction, etc continue on. And I'd like to articulate the fact that I mentioned it is a cycle, not a circle. Where even if time was constant, going forward in a straight line, it repeats. (Or would that just be a circle then?)
can you please explain what you mean by "it repeats"? what repeats? does this man-made idea cause everything to be put back the way it was?
This isn't really an issue for me, since I have the same username & password for most of the sites I get on, though I have unique passwords for gmail & other important sites which I occasionally forget

; hence I like knights. well, its not pretty surprising you like chess, since all about your account is Lelouch=) but i know Lelouch's favorite chess piece is the king right?
well, he called Kallen "a well played knight", but I think his favorite is the king
this is the only game I have on my itouch...
no, I'm not joking...
I love aggressively attacking my opponent, and I'll usually sacrifice a few pieces to continue my attacks. since I love offense, I love the queen, though I'm willing to do a fair exchange IF I'm winning. apart from the queen, I like the knight, mostly because a hate a bishop (not bishops). in the endgame, my opponent seems to ALWAYS move all his pieces to the colored squares that my bishop can't attack; hence I like knights.

How to control a society? Allow me to quote Niccolo Machiavelliniccolo machiavelli wrote...
Therefore A Wise Prince Will Seek Means By Which His Subjects Will Always And In Every Possible Condition Of Things Have Need Of His Government, And Then They Will Always Be Faithful To Him.man, I was gonna quote him, oh well, saved me the trouble.
fear controls people, but one must be very careful to avoid being hated. fear is easy to achieve, hard to lose, and very powerful.
the common alternative of course, is trust. while I wish that this method of control worked, the fact is that it's not an effective means to control people. trust is hard to obtain, but most importantly, trust is easy to lose, even if one is of perfect character.
intelligence and Money are helpful for a government to be successful, but they really don't affect the government's control of the people
edit: I forgot to mention; control of the media is extremely important to control a society. it affects everyone opinions of everything we know about, with the exception of those that apply critical thinking
