Because in most cases, angering one's rapist will only worsen the situation.
Scary and quite sad, but reality has shown this to be true in so many cases: victims/survivors who tried to defend themselves during sex only enraged the rapists...
Unless you've got serious canines, one is honestly "better off" (though still horrid and against one's will) to felate the rapist and hope they're satisfied enough to stop before vaginally/anally raping you...

Sad and scary, but true. Reality is cruel enough that most women learn this as "fact" and are taught how to defend against rape, as it's somehow their job, and not the responsibility of rapists not to rape.

Pretty much this, if you are going to anger your attacker you MUST have the ability to back that action up with defensive counter measures of some sort. This is why I am in full support of women getting free pepper spray and taser's .

I would agree with the feeling that visual novels have a much better impact compared to recent manga/anime, double for anime.

I want to believe a driving factor for the impact is derived from the time investment in each visual novel and that you are "in" the story. In a anime or manga you are just watching, in a visual novel you are placed right in the action. Plus you will be in the action from a ridiculous amount of time.

The story's also seem to be better in there expansion and implementation due to the fact that you are not dealing with a time limit, page limit, ext.

For this reason I have become an addict of VN's rather than animation recently.

I voted yes on this one.
I love having the physical copy of games, music, ext however the prices for visual novels are just on another planet for no real reason. I would gladly pay for the actual product if this was not the fact. Because of this, if fakku were to stop uploading licensed products It will only take me an extra 5 seconds to find another means of obtaining what I want.

I think it is reasonable to judge people by appearance. To me it feels like a form of defense, sure some people look rough and tough and are actually nice people however the chances are much lower than an average looking person, or someone who dresses nice on a daily basis.

As a person who is 20 years old and already has about 150k miles under my belt I cannot even fathom the number of females that where head first into their cellphones that almost crashed into my car. We need hand censors on cars to detect both hands on the wheel, otherwise the engine cuts off.

If I see people on the road texting and driving at the same time I pretty much give them the horn to scare the shit out of them, and hopefully cause them to drive off a cliff.

In regards to driving while talking on the cellphone I see no problem with that, so long as the person has enough driving experience. Even then it should be reserved for needed/important conversations.
