This has to be the funniest part cause they have SO MANY BOOKS,Fakku Books where they work with the artist to reproduce them in English to be sold outside of Japan. So you wanted books to buy there are your books, so put up or shut up buy the books like you have been saying you wanted.



This is great you reported FAKKU to get them in trouble and shut down, so if FAKKU isn't doing what they say they are (paying artists) they get shut down, and when FAKKU does NOT shut down it's doors because they violated NO laws and there is NO legal action that can be taken against them you will have to learn that you are just wrong.

The art style is reminiscent of old school manga art, if you haven't read stuff like JoJo Fist of the North Star Urotsukidoji, etc. people may just class it up to "bad" art however for the time it was God's work.

Will the August preview thread also include previews for the new magazines?

An exact number was never relased.

We do know that the first batch went up for sale and sold out in around 20 minutes.

A second vey small batch was relased which sold out in 10 minutes

The 3rd and final batch took around 2 hours to sell out. (at least I wanna say that, according to the original topic in went up at 7:12 pm EST and someone said 6 copies left at 9:08 pm EST)

The did openly state that they only had 300 Copies of the MEME50 Box (Saitom had 500)

So unless they printed 300 to sell specifically at AX and they printed an additional like 100 or so to sell on the site they might only have a small batch that they purposely held back.

Those were my thoughts as well, cause if they won't be ready to upload videos till like November (theoretically) the topic discussing it will just turn into a, "where are the videos, you announced them so long ago", topic

I just think most artists don't want to have their pictures taken and be shown to the public.

For the MEME50 autograph sessions it was:

No photos
No vidoes
No handshakes

No photos/videos is very common, in fact it is more unsual to have an artist/author who allows photos. (YÅ«to Tsukuda author of Shokugeki No Soma allowed photos)

So Q&A is like out unless the creator is cool with it. They could always record the Q&A and make a transcript to post...

As for their regular industry panel...MEME50 also made an appearance there and so it kinda falls in the same line of no photos/video. However this year they were really good and the announcements hit twitter simultaneous, and almost all the announcements hit the forums within hours of the panel.

That is licensed by 2D Market so since they have uploaded doujinshi to the site before hopefully they will upload that series soon.

Wani doesn't release preview pictures until about 3-5 days before the book releases in Japan.

So next month sometime around the 3rd maybe 4th week of August we should have some preview pictures.
