The forums were declining outside of the most popular sections for a while.
With things like twitter, discord, etc. etc., forums are becoming less relevant. It's just something that happens naturally. The fakku discord is quite active and there's tons of people on twitter, etc. etc. talking about and following fakku.

Regarding the Non Cool-Guys cafe...Have you tried talking to him...or even just making a new thread? The old one was pretty bloated.
Might be making a mountain out of a mole hill.

A few things I thought of while working:

Changing the name to Poverty Waifu game.

Every person regardless of post count or years here gets 200 points.

Reputation points are locked as if first claim so no one can go abusing that shit. Your post count isn't locked but if you're just spamming Greet & meet, Random, dead sections, etc. etc. I will lock it personally for the offender.

Making a thread outside of CTFG/Random that gets actual conversation going and more than 5 unique posters gets you 100 points. An upper limit of points achieved this way is 300. You just have to post a link to the thread here and I will verify it.

First 3 posters of every round get to implement a discount rule for then next round. The discount is 10% on a specific waifu/husbando characteristic that can't be too broad or too specific. (i.e no, "all girl characters get 10% off" OR "all waifus residing in the Scarlet Mansion get 10% off"). Discount rules can stack. I must approve of the discount beforehand.
First discount will be announced soon...(because I haven't thought of good ones myself)

You can divorce... but NO refunds.

You can sell off your acquired waifu. This will incentivize people to get here first.
yes waifu nabbing is allowed. You just can't sell her off for more than 1.5 times her initial value.

Pity Clause, if someone claims a waifu you were claiming (and you have to have had enough points to get her), you get 10 pity points. The post have to be in between 5 minutes of each other though.

If you catch an error/typo I made, you get 10 pity points.

Every opening post must contain your waifu/husbando's full name, the link to the google search, and the amount of points you have before and after your purchase. If you're caught lying on the value (you can contest this), you won't get your precious waifu. And yes, like Freaky said, if you're smart and know how to work google, you can end up paying less.

I was thinking of using a point based system where your post + reputation would be your total amount of power points.
In order to claim your waifu(s), you can't exceed the power points. A waifus power points are determined the amount of google hits divided by 100 when searching your waifu.

It's like the Steven Universe fanbase, where I'm sure the show(s) have some merit but the fanbase turns me away super hard.

More than likely ISP are going to start negotiating with all the traffic heavy/bandwidth intense sites. You might see an increase in said subscription services but I don't see any sites really being affected drastically outside of Netflix and Youtube.

Sure most ISP are greedy, but drastically shaking things up where every site/service but their own being throttled would be suicide and they know it.
