Will this version be available at EU retailers that carry Fakku books as well, or will it be exclusive to the webstore? It should be, if you have retailers that carry some of our books, be sure to ask them if they plan to or are going to. It could be that they purchased some and waiting for them to arrive, or with you asking they'll be sure to request some.

Hi, I saw a comment on reddit that Asanagi box set is getting reprinted, is that true? Thanks in advance.
It is on the list of getting reprinted this year, with some improvements made to the box as well! :)

Napata is definitely an artist we would like to reprint, unfortunately at this time I can't give dates on when we intend to. Realistically probably not until next year, as this year we are prioritizing getting caught up with our current preorders and reducing the window time between preorder and receiving the product.
I think that's the biggest strain with supporters right now and an issue we want to focus on resolving.
There will be few reprints here and there for titles that are in extreme demand, however until we're caught up then that's what the focus will be. I do however intend to have a resurgence of reprints, so when we do achieve our first goal, reprints will be the second wave coming through. I hope that helps!

Not a big topic, but for those who might be interested, we have a little bit of a gap of normal book releases with some anticipation of sales coming up. We're working on a lot of great things right now and I'm very excited for this year. You can expect normal book releases to pick back up towards end of February!

Yes, a reprint is in the works for this year

In August last year new stock arrived for this Pandemonium in Blackwell's (this is not an ad, it is just the bookstore where I buy from). Was this an official reprint from your side or they just found some stock somewhere? To be honest I am interested to know not only about a possible reprint of Pandemonium but also for the rest of NaPaTa's physical version of his books. As far as I am aware you still publish books from this publisher. Thanks in advance for any info you can give meI can't imagine why it wouldn't be our book, it's possible some random stock was found. As long as it has our logos on it then you shouldn't have to worry. I really encourage you to pick our book up from a local shop in the UK, it encourages distribution overseas so more of our books are available at a cheaper price versus overseas shipping :)

I see Bullied is in the list of Reprints currently on production, do you have an ETA?Thanks in advance.
We should have this title by summer time at the latest, once it's further along in the print process I can give a more accurate ETA

Since recently released Fakku books have censored covers now, how will that effect reprints of books released before this change came into a effect? Like would an eventual Viewer Discretion Advised by Yuuki Iwasaki have its cover how it was originally or changed to fit the new standard?I know Juicy Tits by Kon Kit hasn't sold out yet, but if it does and if it gets a reprint, will the reprint be more in line with the Netorare New Heroine by Kon Kit print, i.e a thicker book with better paper quality. Even the spine design in the Juicy Tits thread looks slightly different than the actual book, probably to account for the book being thinner?

Our goal is to get to the point where covers are going to be SFW even in reprints by working with the artist. This isn't a design choice made because we don't want lewd content, but because of pressures from outside distribution. It's a problem even Japan is facing now and in the future we may find they also lightening up on how explicit the front covers are.
With that in mind that does not mean we want fans to miss out on content, artists work with us and create variants for the SFW covers. Fleeting Beauties, Bunny Mating Season and Sex Spree Saga are some of my favorite variants' made by artists for covers. However, inside the books the original artwork that was on the cover is provided in pinup style without any text on them so you can see the original artwork in all its glory.
As far as book quality goes, while two years ago we did experiment with different paper types with different printers, we were able to go back to our normal specifications for books, so Juicy Tits when reprinted would go back to the normal paper stock that you're familiar with.

Where are the reprints by Shindo L?Metamorphosis by Shindo L, paperback..
and TSF Monogatari by Shindo L... this has been out of stock for years now. What is even happening?
Metamorphosis Paperback will be available for sale by March of next year (at the latest).
As for other reprints, we are definitely in need of a lot of great titles. My department with books has been working very hard this year "normalizing" itself with the new printer that we started working with at the end of 2023. While we were able to get a number of things printed this year, the process definitely needed help. It's a big undertaking for a printer to understand the exact needs, and I'm confident that we have the process down. We have a few batches of books going right now and the process has been much quicker and painless as we understand what each side needs to move more efficiently.
Right now my priority is catching up with our new releases. As I'm sure most of you have felt, the time length to receive a book from preorder is long.
My goal for next year is to have all 2024 books in production by May 2025. That means that by October at the latest all 2024 titles should be in the hands of customers. This won't happen all at once, as we are going to be steadily supplying projects each month to keep books in different stages of production.
That means during 2025 by the end of the year I actually anticipate getting to begin working on 2026 titles before they even become available for preorder, which sounds wild - but it's something that I'm very excited about. My top priority is lowering the waiting window between preorder and release.
As for reprints, because I'm aggressively going to be tackling getting caught up next year now that the system is in place, reprints will be few in between aside from some of the biggest sellers, but it won't be until May/June 2025 that you see more than 1 reprint being worked on a month.
I think it's important for us to have a healthy flow of books coming in that people have paid for in order to minimize the wait time, and I want to prioritize that for the customers and my team has a full timeline laid out on exactly how we want to tackle that for the coming year. I know it's had to be frustrating, and hopefully in the coming months people will be able to see the flow that is happening.
Thanks everyone for all your support, I'm excited to make more and more porn available to you all!

I'm so so excited that this is finally going out to you guys. This has been the longest project I've worked on and we're so proud of it. The book was an idea that just kept growing and growing with ideas and the amount of effort Shindo L contributed to the final result really put the cherry on top with this.
Even if you only know this book for just the meme, there's so much interesting information about problems Shindo L ran into when creating the title with Japanese laws and he has a ton of really interesting thoughts throughout the annotated portion. I hope you guys genuinely enjoy the title, because I sure did.

I'm unsure of why any cancellations would happen, but the books have arrived to the distribution center that handle things like amazon orders and third party retailers. With that being said, the books arrived a little earlier than anticipated (right before the east coast port strikes) and have a locked in date, so it'll be about another month and half before people start seeing movement with it. The reassuring news is at least we'll definitely have it for the holidays :)

Hello, can we get a break down on what is "new" in this Hardback. ThanksThe second half of the book are the chapters in sketch form, on each of those pages the artist left comments about it, whether it's challenges he had with the scene, thoughts about what was going on, or if he had intended for something but it got changed. There are some extra sketches too from earlier drafts of alternative endings or extra pages in that section as well where he talks about those and how they ended up getting dropped.
There's also an interview that's from a section in the book The History of Hentai Manga by Kimi Rito from Shindo L. Then extra illustrations at the end as well of the book.

The reason you guys are seeing preorders through Amazon is due to the book being listed through distribution, there's a whole system for book publishers to submit books for other bookstores to buy/ pre-order them - preordering through Amazon is perfectly fine, especially if you're in the UK and seeing books listed on Amazon UK to save you on shipping.
Please keep in mind when you purchase through us directly you get your digital copy too, so those who want to wait for FAKKU aren't missing out and we will get the sale up when books are available - I hope this information helps

Will this be available in Australia and if so where will preorders and that kind of thing be happening? That's a matter of finding a local comic book store and asking them if they'll be ordering the book, the book will be available through distribution and any store will know where to order it from. Otherwise you'd be ordering it directly from us and I know shipping is not cheap that method. I highly suggest you contact local comic stores.
It's the same thing with the other user mentioning finding it on preorder in UK, that's an example of third party distribution working where they can buy the book at a much cheaper shipping rate

Hey all, I literally just got back from the convention and just wanted to assure everyone that we will be having it go up for sale soon. The bulk of the books are enroute via ship, it usually takes about a month and half to two months to receive.I know everyone is very excited, and I'm so grateful and share the excitement with you. I would heavily encourage not buying off of scalpers with obscene pricing. The retail of the book is $49.95 and should not cost you more than that.
By purchasing through proper channels you're supporting the artist directly along with those who put in a lot of work to make the book look wonderful.
So, it will be up for sale in about a 1-2 months?
As soon as the books are in warehouse we'll be starting the sale. Please understand that books have to cross seas, clear customs, placed on trucks and delivered and it's a lot of steps that are out of our control on how fast it makes it through all those stages. So I tentatively say yes, but please understand small delays could make it a little longer.

Finally have some goodies to show everyone :) We got an early shipment in for Anime Expo, limited quantities will be there this year, this does not impact the general stock of the books and we will have updates after the convention for purchasing!
I'm so excited about this project, it couldn't look more beautiful!

I'm sorry you guys are feeling frustrated. The books ended up being approved via Zoom call with our printer since it was less of a color issue and more of a layout correction in order to save time. The book is being printed right now, and I still don't have anything in my hands to take photos. I have some low quality videos, but unfortunately those are next to about 3 other projects that haven't been announced yet.
I know everyone is excited about the project and just want to see it completed (Me too!) but I promise as soon as I have something new in my hands I will share photos, besides that - the books are finishing up in press!
We are working tirelessly for Anime Expo for a lot of new and exciting things, so unfortunately you're not going to see the preorder until after Anime Expo - however the book is finishing up and we have plenty of copies to prepare for everyone.
Thanks!
