That Deep Shit-flavored twisted ending came almost out of nowhere like a (proverbial) Chuck Norris Roundhouse Kick.
Still a good story to watch and read, but my conclusion at the end is:

It may be subjective, but (IMHO) the Vanilla factor only showed up when MC got notified by (I presume) a past client that the client had fallen in love with the monster girl he had received from MC, and in a few moments, MC walked down a similar path. Every reader will interpret how things unfolded as they choose.

I personally get vibes that FMC (Saemura-senpai) is older than MC (Kamie-kun), if only by a slim margin ... but that's just me.
Put simply and IMHO, this story was deliciously cute. I agree with no "Vanilla" tag being applied right now; if one day, artist does a sequel where these two actually become a couple, maybe then.

KAMI-SAMA Be Praised ..... I sense Sexy Onee-san vibes coming from the Holy Mother FMC. And it seems the demon curse was No Match for her (a-hem) disenchantment ritual. GOD DAYUM! ..... this brought back memories of the days "B.L." ("Before FAKKU became Legit"), when it featured a one-shot H-story with a Super Sentai theme; namely, the leader of the heroes (for want of a better name, the RED Ranger) and the Evil Demonic Princess (daughter of the Evil Organization's Leader) were secret lovers.

Page 17 - Toki-chan's words were actually the secret code to unlock (even for a moment) "beast mode" in the otherwise kind and gentle Shin-niisan.
