Have so many favorites.

Okay, here to ruin the fun. Not really, but I think this is getting a bit out of hand. Voicing my thoughts, agree with them or shit on them as you wish.

I think the whole NTR thing is insane. Even more so that you actually have to pay some sort of cost to opt out of it. The way I see it, the whole thing is only good for being a dick about someone's pick, or that you couldn't accept the fact that you lose what is an otherwise completely fair race. Maybe you do feel NTR'd when others, randoms especially, 'steals' your pick by having the data of their posts received by the server microseconds before yours, but in all aspects the race is fair and he wins it fair. Losing sucks, I very much agree, but that's exactly why winning is nice. That we're discussing how to implement a rule that screams denial and/or dickishness simply doesn't sit right with me.

On that note, I don't really care having to sacrifice some slots to opt out of it. If that's what I gotta do, then that's what I'll do. The only waifu that I care enough to claim every round as my first has been the same for quite a long time already. But the fact that you guys seem completely cool with this crap seems terribly queer to me, thus the post.

Roflwut. I never made any point about their intelligence. My point was that with enough indoctrination it would never occur to someone to even begin doubting. Intelligence is the tool, not the drive.

First things first, use the spoiler function. As you add more chapters, it'll be really cluttered without.

Okay, as mentioned, your description is really well done. I almost have no problems imagining the scene and setting. ...but that's it, sadly. The first chapter covered so little that there isn't much to learn or anticipate. All that was told is that a guy had it rough and at some point, he found a foul talking sword. ...in the real world. Not really fond of the start, but I'll stick around, just to see where you take this to.
