It's a wonderful thing that she trusts you, but if you're not happy with the way things are make it known or the relationship will suffer down the road. Sometimes putting on a brave face does more harm than good in the long run. If she doesn't know or notice how uncomfortable you seem to be with the idea, she eventually will. When she sites one of two possibilities could come to be, either she blames herself for not noticing sooner or she resents you for nit being honest with her. Make your thoughts known and work out a solution with her instead of with us. She's the one you need to be having this conversion with.

Whether or not Time exists would depend an awful lot on one's definition of Time, and Existence.

For example, if existence is limited to entities, it's gonna be different than if you broaden your understand inf existence to things like entities and FORCES and other broader understandings similar.

In one sense, time most definitely exists. That would be the physicist's explanation of time. Space-time is pretty much, since Einstein's time, the fabric of the very universe itself. Time in this sense has been measured. Not just in the abstract either. There's the Gravity Probe B experiment and Frame Dragging for examples.

So yeah...in the scientific sense, I'd say the physicists tend to agree that...time exists.


Is it available on audible? I have a credit and I can't decide what to do with it.

After several colonies petitioned to secede from the UN and were denied the right a stand to create a new governmental agency began on MV8491 (New Alexandria). Violent protests broke out across the planet beating back UN Col-Sec forces to Olympus Station. Armed civilians outraged by their lack of a parliament seat severed most tires with the UN and began to establish a new alliance with nearby colonies. With the exception of Pacifica most neighboring planets aligned themselves with the XLF. Soon after the Petroskowitz-Heinberg alliance was signed rumors of the deployment of the 445th DSR (deep strike regiment) began to circulate. The colony went dark for several days the planet's artificial magnetosphere collapsed irradiating the surface. Several conspiracy theories arose, but without proof they fell flat. Other member planets secured their borders and prepared for a war that wouldn't come.


Revolution on MV8492 (Pacifica)

Following the total loss of New Alexandria citizens on Pacifica began to panic for their own safety creating a schism between loyalists to the UN and XLF sympathizers. Attempting to regain control over the planet the Pacifica family began aggressive martial law. The new policy outraged the populace who were already unhappy with the aristocratic government. Violent responses to the new laws were ubiquitous across the nation. During this time Maximilien Godric Erde became famous for his bold tactics as a key in the liberation of Pacifica driving out the ruling party. Rather than deploying the 445th again the UN began evacuation of the dignitaries and attempting to create a foothold. Serving as a border between UN and XLF space Pacifica was agreed to be a neural ground for diplomatic relations. During the negotiations Maximilien Godric Erde, once an asset to the people was handed over as a bargaining chip.


Earth-First Naturalists

Among the remaining religions on Earth several had objections to colonizing deep space. Among those who disagreed the most fantastically was a terrorist cell known as the Earth-First Naturalists. Founded as an anti-genetic modification organization the group gained strength and momentum as they expanded operations to include the sabotage of both UN and XLF colonies.


Conflict at Luna
Spoiler:
As energy reserves became scarce on Earth an effort shifted to strip-mining Helium-3 from the lunar surface. Environmental conservationists, religious sects and anti-corporate organizations joined together to stop the operation. Lacking organization, clear leadership and military training the ad-hoc army conducted several disorganized strikes forcing the UN to draw on Col-Sec troops to stabilize the situation. Although most military operations were successful there were several bloody losses to UN forces.


There is more coming, so don't think I'm done just yet.


I added it later because I thought it up later based upon what the players created.

Zandorf pointed out a critical lack of information considering the span of the journey. As different parts of the vessel accelerate laterally at different rates time passes at different rates on board. Until the incident rendering the vessel hurtling through space without a Hawking space-time bubble and Einstein compensators it took 15 years on Earth, 15 years in the internal city, 2 years in engineering, 5 months on the bridge and seconds in most other sections. To avoid paradoxes of leaving a section yet still being there the sections are totally isolated. John Boyd was on the bridge for the journey, Six was in unshielded duckworth (making it only take seconds for her) and Jeffrey was in the city making the trip take 5 months, several seconds and 15 years respectively. To allow for player walk-ons there are bays of unaltered time dilation making th e journey last only a few seconds. Once the compensators were damaged the ship only flew for a few minutes, but on Earth it took 14,368 years. Everyone assumes that the entire vessel was lost.
