Squirting is essentially fluid coming out of the urethra. It almost looks like urine, but actually it is fluid that gathers in the bladder from it's lining that is a mixture of hormonic secretion with slight traces of urine. These secretions serve the purpose of attracting and arousing mates and also can lubricate the vaginal area slightly (you don't rub it on/in there but it can trickle down onto it.

When a woman is becoming stimulated and around this fluid can gather into the bladder (this is why it is best to use the restroom before you start to become intimate; this fluid can make your bladder distended and feel full). The more arousal a woman feels the more this fluid can accumulate. When a woman has an orgasm or multiple orgasms this fluid will release itself and thus squirting is the result (or gushing if it's a lot or you didn't use the restroom). The taste is a mixture of urine with either a slight sweetness or sometimes a little alkaline tasting. It doesn't necessarily taste of straight up urine and it is a it more clear to slightly cloudy.

NOTE: Men not all women can squirt or gush, nor may they ever. Even though it can happen, that doesn't mean that every woman can do this. There is nothing wrong with a woman who cannot squirt/gush because this is a prehistoric trait that doesn't serve much purpose in our modern society. We don't need to attract mates via squirting hormones so the art has been lost over decades.

NOTE: squirting is not a definite sign that a woman has had an orgasm. A woman can have an orgasm pretty intensely given the person regardless if they are able to squirt or not. Besides, even if a woman squirts that doesn't mean that she had an orgasm. You will have to have an open relationship with your partner and talk about things if you fear that you are not pleasing your partner and making them orgasm. I know guys fear when they can't tell if they are making a woman feel good, but either talk it out or work on your fears because we can't help you on this matter much (it's in your head).

Things you can do to make a woman squirt
**before I mention these things know this; if a woman is not comfortable with the idea of trying to squirt DO NOT force her into this. This will not make the orgasm any more intense then without squirting and no person should feel pressured into doing this. This again doesn't mean that you can tell if you make your partner orgasm.

- keep hydrated: by keeping hydrated with fluids throughout the day you can more easily squirt or even gush if you are that sensitive.
- learn where your arousal spots are: area's such as the clitoris and the G-spot in the vaginal lining can cause more intense orgasms and can help with creating the whole "squirting and gushing act".
- use the restroom before and afterwards: by emptying out the urine in your bladder you can allow the fluid to accumulate there that is as I said before (a mixture of hormones and urine). This should not be confused with urine and is quite normal. Also make sure to use the restroom afterwards to clean up so you don't have any chances of suffering from UTI's or infections. (fun fact, if you squirt too much and too often you can inflame your urethrea which can cause an infection as well, so moderation is important as well).
- sometimes smaller is better; it is easier for there to be little or no girth in the vagina when you want your partner to squirt. Basically when you are having intercourse; the girth of a man's dick can impede the urethral tube and prevent the fluid from coming out. It can still come out given the right positioning, but it is much easier to squirt given continuous stimulation without a cock in the way lol.
- orgasming is key; now I have said before that even if a woman has an orgasm that this doesn't mean that she can squirt. This fact is true and no woman or guy should feel insecure about a woman not being able to squirt. To be able to squirt though you need both arousal and an orgasm if the woman is able to do so. The arousal and the building of the orgasm both stimulate the fluid to be created and collected in the bladder. The climax will cause pressure in the bladder and vaginal area that will allow the fluid to come out. Basically the woman will have to bear down and push the fluid out herself, much like when she urinates. This can be embarrassing for women who don't wish to do so and once again should not be forced on a woman to enact if she doesn't feel like doing so.
- lastly be open to the idea of squirting; I will admit that it feels good to squirt, but it's only because I can both do so and am not ashamed of doing so. I was embarrassed by it at first, but I learned to control it and I also just enjoy doing some perverted things. Also doesn't help that I am pretty sensitive. I prefer to not squirt myself over squirting because I can orgasm just fine without doing it and it's a pain in the ass to clean up.

Summary: squirting is different for all women. Doesn't mean that it's any better or worse to squirt. If you can't do it then no big deal. The taste is basically diluted urine, but is different for every person.
