She's beautiful in my opinion with a nice-colored set of hair. Her hairstyle and dress-style is pretty neat as well. And overall, I like her character. Oh, and she has a nice smile too... Anko :)

There are big cultural differences between America and Japan. There are very little instances where America actually creates good cartoon shows like Avatar but in most other cases, they don't because it's meant for kids so quality shouldn't be any better. Japan takes their animes very seriously so obviously they turn out better because it's meant for an older audience so therefore we expect better story line, better animation quality, better character development, and I guess the fan service wouldn't hurt.
