Considering I've been doing scanlation back in 2010 and worked with Project-H and now with Fakku. It's definitely a passion of mine, but not appealing for kicks anymore. I appreciate it more on an artistic level than anything, sex in general is just appealing and it's nice when an artist can draw it in a unique way.
As for regular porn though, with complaints often saying normal porn is too cheesy then I would just suggest looking at more premium sites and taking a look at some of their content. I'm a big fan of x-art.com and I know there's a few other sites that cater towards more of the "glamour sex" side of porn.

If you ordered all the books at once with your preorder of Love Ridden then that would be why you've had a hold up. Love Ridden was finished right as anime expo started and is just now starting to ship. If you ordered them all together then the rest of the books were held to wait for Love Ridden to then ship to you all at once. :)

Why not just use Imgur?I've tried it, pic won't load when i post it.
When you upload it, make sure you copy the direct link that has the .png/.jpg on it versus the gallery link. There's different link options on the right side after you upload

I used the online reader, so yes, it's most likely a server problem. Not a big deal, but it was a total bummer not being able to "enjoy" some of my favorite pages. It'll get fixed, Jacob is aware of it.

We'll get that fixed asap, sorry for the mixup!

Could you show a specific example in the chapter?Basically all dialogue, text in bubbles, and plot related sfx (like if a car was in one panel and in another panel you just see a giant sfx and it's CRASH) are translated and done. Essentially the only things that aren't done are all the sex noises which like Jake says takes a considerable amount of time to make sure they're done nicely and simulpublished with the Japanese.
It's not about not being able to get the plot, this is porn we're talking about in the first place I could read raws and get most of plot. What I meant by just too much is that when you have a chapter with so many onomatopoeias that also take so much space on each page and they are left untranslated it feels like I'm missing part of the experience.
I know you most likely think I'm just whining about nonsense but I really think it matters when there are pages filled with sfx without translation. There's a reason why you guys sold 65.000 books and it's because it showed through every single page just how much everybody involved in the process cared about.
Say that chapter you referred to was released as a tankoubon, we'd completely revamp it and improve the quality and make sure every ounce of it was translated for the reader. The artist a lot of times will also improve little things about the chapter as well and make tweaks for the book version. That's a big benefit of the books.
But the magazines you have ~1000 pages to translate and edit every month and sfx literally take as long as the moans/dialogue in the book so you're increasing the time period double by doing all the sfx appropriately.
I can see your concern with it, but the focal point of the magazines is that you get a chance to read it in english, be introduced to new artists at the same time when the magazines are released in Japan. When we release books, just like the Japanese you have the choice to buy the book that has compiled works of your favorite artists with extra goodies and higher quality than the magazine edition.

I've noticed that most of the onomatopoeias were left untranslated on the magazines, why?Magazines are a lot more time sensitive (since we are simulpublishing them) so we are prioritizing getting chapters released ahead of the extra things we do for a book release (which take considerably more time). As a result we won't always do the full edit for some of the common sound effects that appear in these chapters.
For some of the stuff I guess that's fine, but with chapters like "Our Family's Liliana-san SS" it's just too much. It's filled with onomatopoeias and we just have no idea what they mean.

Eventually we'll get there though with more variety.

If you were at Expo just understand that Bosshi's doujin XXX was not a physical/digital combo offer online, so that's the only book you wouldn't be able to get the digital version for free.

Email store@fakku.net with a picture of your book and convention badge and they should be able to hook you up.

Thank you all. I'll take in all of this to make my decision. But to be completely honest, it probably won't matter because I'm pretty sure I'm addicted and will buy all of them.Welcome to the club. https://www.fakku.net/users/animefreak-usa/books
Only xxx mix is missing since i own the physical and not the digital.
You really gonna let that stop you from having it lit up on your Books list? :P

Excited to say that my copy of Titikei arrived today, as well as my copy of Welcome to Tokoharu Apartments. Additionally, happy to say that the packaging is substantially improved from the last time I ordered (when I got Renai Sample). Where Renai Sample arrived with a crease on the dust cover (which was easily fixed regardless), these two books came surrounded in bubble wrap, in a box that was sized perfectly for them. Having previously worked in shipping myself, I can honestly say this is about the best way they could have been packaged. Happy to have them home now :)Yaay @crazy-ben !

Oh my god, let me tell y- just kidding :P
Graphic designing can be a miserable job with clients. Some clients want to pay you to tell you how to design whatever they need done and won't listen to a single bit of input or warning. That can be frustrating because it's something you're investing time into and don't want that person ever telling anybody you created it because it looks bad.
This job has probably been the most free I've been design wise, Mike pretty much overlooks all the books and he's pretty good at giving different graphic designers specific types of books based on their personal aesthetic and preferences of material. I'm down to work on anything but he knows what books I'll be able to do my best on at this point. So there's zero complaints on that front.
The forums would be my customers and in the books thread that's pretty much out of my department unless it's a general question I come across that I can answer. Otherwise all the tech support / troubleshooting / quality control I don't have to deal with :P
Admittedly though, Fakku users are really patient and understanding. It's nice seeing a lot of the user base be respectful to each other and even the staff members. You don't come across that very much when it comes to customers/employees.

Nobody really remembers who Ziggy was anyway, and the reason it was changed was because a lot of staff use their names and I figured "Why not". There was no profound reason on why it was changed, but I have no profound reason to bug Jake to change it back :P
I remember.
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
