Ok, you guys, I'm making a bit of headway into our sound logo, and I need your voices. Record yourself saying "Voices of Eden" in whatever way you wish. If you can make several versions, that would be great!

This. It's really difficult to be there for someone who is suffering abuse, because oftentimes they will feel like they have to stay in the relationship, or feel like they deserve the abuse. But you have to really show her that you will be there for her whenever she wants out.

I'm not good with drawing, but I may be able to make a sound logo for us. I'm currently trying to come up with a sound logo for the "company" I'm working with for the VN, and it's kinda fun.

The creams worked well on my legs, but I really dislike the smell--it smells like cheap perms. Plus you're not supposed to use them on "sensitive areas" anyway, and that's where I usually do hair removal.

I end up waxing the bikini/underarms areas (with shaves in between waxes), and tweezing my brows. Any favourite brands you gals use? I use Sally Hansen's Naturally Bare honey wax, and for razors, I use a nifty Schick Quattro one with a built in mini-trimmer.

I have it on sigrotator. ^_^

I'm not too hairy on the arms and legs (yay Asian genes?) but underarms and bikini area is where I usually wax. Which is painful. OUCH. I mean, it's not *that* bad, but I hadn't done it in a while so I wasn't used to it. I'm less annoyed at the pain and more annoyed at the time and expense.

It's a good thing teh bf cares not a whit about body hair.

Er...girly topic of the day is: hair removal!

I just spent a couple of rather painful hours yesterday waxing for my trip to the beach later today. AAAAARRRRRRRRRGH WHY DO WE SUBJECT OURSELVES TO THIS SHIT?!?!? I want to go all Feminist Hulk Smash and say fuck it to all forms of hair removal, but I'm still too affected by the patriarchal standards. Plus, I live in SoCal, land of Hollywood, where everyone is rich, young, and beautiful...and you really can feel the censure sometimes. Not everyone is blonde, skinny, tan, and beautiful, but there's a whole lot of pressure to conform to mass media's version of what is beautiful.

Ah well. So anyway, hair removal methods--which ones do you use? Which ones do you love, like, dislike, or hate?
